A beautifully photographed documentary that explores the natural habitats of our world's creatures and examines the delicate existence of Earth itself. Narrated by Patrick Stewart.

(A review from Amazon)
This Blu-ray is amazing. Pin sharp picture, full HD 1080P. At just over an hour and a half, the film never lags, and the narration is superb by Patrick Stewart.

Just a note to those who already own the Blu Ray of 'Planet Earth' that the BBC released last year - around 10-20% of the footage appears to be either the same or similar, especially in the Polar Bear and Cubs segment.

There is enough new material to warrant a purchase, however. Watching through my PS3 console on a 42" Toshiba HD TV and the picture is pretty much pin-sharp in every scene, unlike the Planet Earth release that was a mixture of standard and high definition and often looked it!

Mixed reviews for people that already have the Planet Earth DVD but for a third of the price of Planet Earth its worth having in your collection..

Can't go wrong for this price delivered!

Edit....PLUSDVD on the Amazon website are selling for £4.99 + £1.26 P&P making it £6.25 all in delivered!!!

Sure it's good (but not as good as our Dave) and it's only 96min

anybody thinking of buying this......... DONT

put the extra £5 to it and buy the planet earth set from play. much much better than this. and an absolute bargain at £12

i would say there are far more than 10-20% of this, that came from the planet earth set. i would put it upwards of 80%

Yeah I found out the hard way but saying that the hd is stunning, but Yh save urself money and do not buy. They even copy the words straight from planet earth nd within the first twenty minutes I had already seen the first seventeen minutes in planet earth! Pls do avoid, this is just pure greed from the producers
