I watched Earth: The Power of the Planet tonight and thought it was brilliant.
So i've just ordered the complete series for £9.99, (normally £19.99)

PS if you want it on Blu-ray, then you can get it from The Hut & ASDA for £15.83.

more about this documentary :-
This landmark series uses specialist imaging and compelling narrative to tell the life story of our planet, how it works, and what makes it so special. Examining the great forces that shape the Earth - volcanoes, the ocean, the atmosphere and ice - the programme explores their central roles in our planet's story. How do these forces affect the Earth's landscape, its climate, and its history? CGI gives the audience a ringside seat at these great events, while the final episode brings together all the themes of the series and argues that Earth is an exceptionally rare kind of planet - giving us a special responsibility to look after our unique world. This is a series that shows the Earth in new and surprising ways. Extensive use of satellite imagery reveals new views of our planet, while timelapse filmed over many months brings the planet to life. Offering a balance between dramatic visuals and illuminating facts, this ground-breaking series makes global science truly compelling.

good stuff, watched this the other week

Amazing series, ordered last week from Amazon for a whole penny cheaper, but was part of a order which qualified fror free delivery....yours is obviously the better deal as a separate item...

Even my notoriously fidgety 6yr old sat through the volcano episode of this completely transfixed...cannot wait to watch the rest of it with him...:)

I only saw a bit of Planet Earth but it seemed to be mostly about nature/animals.
This one is more about the planet itself.

Now when is my £5 Quidco voucher coming, eh?

I have it already but had to say that it's a damn fine series and well worth the asking price.

Watched Rare Earth last night (repeat I think), gonna pick up the set. Do BBC region protect their Blu-Rays? I have a US PS3.

Watched these when they were on TV a few months ago. Fascinating Stuff

fascinating but surely fantazised an episode is available to watch on iplayer, they seemed to have proven the moon landings with proof and yet not raising an eyelid.

definatly one for blu-ray.
