That's the idea! Good dose of fibre!

You can also get the tomatoes and mix and match....
This deal has been off and on ( but mostly on ) for about a year. Can't believe it hasn't already been posted as it's a fab deal!

Bought 8.

Or brought 8 depending on where you're from.

These are always £4.99 for a tray / box of 24 tins at Worldwide Foods
The Natco brand are cheaper still at £3.99 if you have one of their branches near you. x

My local store does not stock these.:(

I prefer their West End premium version. More expensive but you get what you pay for.

4 for 1 in Morrisons too but I think it's different brand.

Loads at Tesco Llanelli. In the Asian Food Aisle. These and the tinned tomatoes - all 4 for £1. BARGAIN!!

Try the Asian Foods aisle - they might be there if they're not in the canned vegetables aisle.

These are good chickpeas and save you the hassle of cooking (boiling) from dry (which would, if you bought the massive Indus packs at 2.80, save you good money over these and a fortune over the 75p ones that most stores charge). They are a great source of protein as well as fibre, great dieting tool, saviour of vegetarians, and if you learn what to do, can be a tasty meat replacement (start with garlic/garlic granules and maybe tomato and you may as well be eating meat, as far as the taste goes, but so much healthier).

Do NOT I repeat do NOT do NOT buy the East End tinned tomatoes. They are absolutely garbage, almost rotting when I had them, I wrote to complain and they ignored me, and there are so many other good manufacturers of good cheap tinned tomatoes. Best fork out that bit more for quality ones, Sainsburys have their own on offer at the mo (boxed ones) and the quality difference is fairly huge.

Best chickpea recipes anyone clever???
