Alluring visitors with its Victorian facade, the Shore View Hotel is located on Eastbourne’s seafront, just a short stroll from the city’s attractions. Guests can take a walk to the Grand Parade, which houses modern art, or visit the iconic Sovereign Harbour, while Drusillas Park can be reached within a 15-minute drive.

The bedrooms boast classic interiors and come complete with en suite bathrooms, satellite TVs, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

Guests can tuck into daily breakfast while enjoying scenic sea views, while the hotel bar serves up an array of drinks.

Groupon’s Guide To East Sussex - Bordered by Kent to the east and Surrey to the north-west, East Sussex is part of the historic county of Sussex, formerly an ancient kingdom of the South Saxons.

Known for its landscaped grounds and nature trails, the region is home to Seven Sisters, a series of chalk cliffs, part of the Seven Sisters Country Park located between the towns of Seaford and Eastbourne. Other well-known attractions include the Royal Pavilion, an 18th-century royal palace built for King George IV and the Old Town Hastings, a traditional British town where plenty of antique shops and old buildings may be explored. Located in the seaside town of Eastbourne, East Sussex Falconry offers plenty of bird watching opportunities, from the known eagle or hawk to the more exotic white-faced owl.

My girlfriend asked me what I saw for our future. I thought for a while, then said "We might go to Eastbourne"
Great price.

My Lad's at Brighton Uni (Eastbourne Campus), so am tempted to go and show him up in front of his new friends.....

We stayed here in October, probably comparable to a Travelodge, and the breakfast was pretty good. Lot of small staircases inside, but nicely located near the pier, and only 10 min walk to town centre. I'd stay again, as its central for Hastings and Brighton too.

Why would you want to go to Hastings?

Councils' greed is one of the major factors not only in the disappearance of the high street, but also the disappearance of tourists and visitors from the former tourism hotspots.

That's a bit unfair .. My local council is doing a cracking job of attracting charity shops and hair dressers ( money launderers ) to our dying high street... While still charging £1 a hour to park .

All is say is everyone be careful and read the signs as Eastbourne borough council is a bugger for moving parking restrictions around

Went last year, drove round for 20 minutes down all side streets near the seafront and it was all chargable or restricted for residence. Ended up paying extortionate fee to park for a few hours.

You can buy a parking permit very cheaply from reception, covers you for a full day's parking. Nice comfortable beds and a good, eat-as-much-as-you-want breakfast.
Coronavirus spreading fast, avoid travelling and staying at hotels. Advised on Singapore and Italy deals too but people don’t bother to stay at home.
