Nice find op, not many deals come up for the south coast.
Stayed here in January. Great pub that serves food across the road.
Mixed reviews but good price. I've only just retired though so not nearly old enough for Eastbourne!

I just stayed in a Village hotel for £35/room incl breakfast so not sure that this is such good value really.

33647469-qLaap.jpgis this is full british breakfast?
It’s Groupon...therefore there must be a scam somewhere along the line with this deal.
Eastbourne - even the shop windows are bifocal.
I was her on 25th March on a Groupon deal. Paid £79 for 2 with me and the Mrs. You get what you pay for and its a bit rough.

Cooked breakfast was Luke warm and only just edible but my wife had a nice yogurt and cereal. You make your own tea and toast so thats OK.

We had a Seaview room and apparently got upgraded to an executive suite. Room was OK but very cold with just one storage heater. The windows were so dirty and small it was difficult to see the sea unless you stood close.

Possible worth the Groupon price but I cannot recommend it.

I like the quietness compared to places like Brighton. Though The restaurants were poor in Eastbourne.

I love Eastbourne! I've always had great times there. And I don't why I love the people of Eastbourne. They are very calm and polite based on my own experience.
Availability around 16-19 Aug?
I live in Eastbourne, it's ok if you want to relax, but not much to do if you have kids. They're investing a lot of money into the place this year though. Revamping the town centre, a new swimming pool, they've also spent 44 million on the tennis park, and talk if an ice rink too. It also has a great free air show in August, apart from that it's pretty chilled and best known as God's waiting room. This hotel isn't the best by a long shot, but will do if you're on a tight budget and have some odd reason to visit!
Would have been good for Eastbourne airshow weekend

[Video] Eastbourne is famous!! This always cracks me up

This clip is just gold!
Didn't think there was enough room for two in Eastbourne, be a bit crowded won't it?
I live in Eastbourne too, great place - love it.
I moved from London to Eastbourne. It's a nice reasonably quiet place unless it's a sunny weekend. Free parking almost everywhere, no traffic jams. Only annoying bit is everybody want's to have a chat.
i am better down to Yorkshire dales for same price..
Passed this on to my parents (in their 70s) - they love Eastbourne!
