Hmmm that's pretty interesting.... Anyone have one, how do you find it as a pannier bag? This or an Ortlieb?

The Carradice Carradry is worth considering: A pannier-to-rucksack convertible, Ortlieb-like waterproof material, but at a fraction of the price, and made in Britain to boot.

What do you do if it rains? You're going to put a wet backpack on. Much better to buy a decent pannier and put a backpack in that.

I was just thinking this, all that road crud getting stuck to it. My decathlon panniers always keep the inside bags dry.

    is it only for bikes?

Had one of these Altura ones before and it was pretty good but the lower horizontal hook was vital for keeping it firmly in position.

Can't see one on this. If it's just those two hooks without anything else to secure it to the rack it's going to rattle and bounce all over the place. (edited)

It looks like the Eastpak uses a velcro strap towards the bottom for this purpose.
