Eastpak are a high quality luggage manufacturer. They offer a 30 year guarantee on defects in materials and workmanship. However, often their bags for the US market are too big to use as a carry on bag for Ryanair and Germanwings.

The Eastpak Spin S is small enough (Height: 52cm (55cm including wheels), Width: 35cm, Depth: 20cm. Volume: 32L) to pass all the main budget airlines. It weighs 2.24kg, so you can still carry some stuff in it and get under a 8kg GermanWings weight limit.

Easyjet doesn't have a weight limit, and you could end up with a 15kg bag, in which case its nice to have wheels.

Wheels are nice to have on smooth surfaces. They are a bit annoying on bumpy surfaces. They are useless on stairs, mud, or grass, when backpack straps are the best.

This bag has main handles that are long enough so that you can use them as backpack straps. It probably won't be something for carrying over long distances, but it should be better than having to carry the bag as a holdall. The bag needs to be designed so that the backpack straps don't get in the way when it’s a trolley bag, and so the wheels don't get your clothes dirty when you're carrying it on your back.

It has a U-zip opening, a zipped pockets on the front and side, with a small zipped pocket on the inside. I don't like bags with thousands of pockets, as I then have to search through all of them to find things.

getthelabel.com is from the same group as JD Sports. Quidco offer 5% cashback for them. The bag costs £34.99, with £3.95 postage. You can then enter DYNAMOS15 to get a 15% discount, as a supporter of the Failsworth Dynamos.

Getthelabel have this bag in blue or brown. There are also two patterned designs which are £5 cheaper, but which only come with a 2 year warranty. There is another one in pink which looks to be a different design. Search for "spins" to find these.

The Quidco transaction has tracked at £1.68 which will bring the bag price down to £32.01 if it pays out.

My bag has arrived. It is pretty good. The outside pockets are quite small. They have a fabric flap over the top of the zips, to keep the rain off, which makes it more difficult to get into the pocket. The big pocket on the front is big enough to take a folder that is a little bigger than A4 width, and the youtube video shows it with an iPad but it wouldn't take a laptop. The construction of the bag is good. The fabric has a rubbery waterproof backing. The wheels roll smoothly and the handle feels solid. I will look into getting a waterproof cover for it, and add a waist strap that can clip onto the stand on the base of the bag.
