Pretty poor sale. It's also entirely unclear whether there is any saving versus the non-sale price. Looks like typical airline scammy practices to me.

Flights out would be 28th Sept and return 10th oct. Any tips on when's best to book? They've gone up by £20 from 2 weeks ago already.

I find around 2-3 months before is usually the sweet spot, but it varies on airline, time of year, popularity of the flight, leaving airport, arrival airport, so what works for me might not work for you.

Not a good sale, I was after a boeing.

I agree with Happyclam90. The airlines also use cookies to track you and nudge the price up every time you look. Either clear your cache including cookies before/after each time you look at prices or turn on 'Private Browsing' in your browser (the one you use for pron, don't tell Damian Green).

I agree. There is nothing cheaper on there and no comparison to pre sale prices.

Try skyscanner or holidaypirates.com/fli…hts try their flight search - not sure if it's run by them or another company but hopefully will help..

I usually find easyjet/ ryanair/ jet2/ wizzair/ eurowings the cheapest though but you never know..!
Flights I was watching in July/August are no cheaper 😔

I always use the hopper app and wait until May/June. They start to drop around then. I've also found that if I keep looking on their website on the same device the price remains the same or increases. If I look on another device the price returns to when I was first looking

Use a different server. Price will go up if you search from same computer or internet connection. Price went up when I searched the same flights as site thought I was interested. You may notice a difference

OIL price UP too
EasyJet sales are pretty guff. You might find £10 or £20 off of a few flights but nothing to write home about. Best time to buy is when the new schedule dates go on sale...like concert tickets I sit and wait for the website to open and then book like mad

The others were alot more than release day.
I booked next Aprils holiday early to get a saving but it was with Monarch
Unrelated to Easyjet, but when's the best time to attempt to book flights to New York for December 2018 please?

Depends on if you want peak holiday season / school holidays.

If you want to book during peak season then book asap. If you are flexible then you'll get a good deal 2-3 months before you travel.

Clear your browser history or use a different browser to do your searches or use 'incognito' browsing! . I was reading somewhere that airlines or comparison sites can see you making multiple searches for the dates/times and the put prices up to influence your decision. Prices do go up closer to the time but don't change significantly several months in advance. Airlines deny this.
Such a bad sale, it doesn’t make clear where the savings are... and the flights around April I’ve been monitoring for the past few months are still the same price... and then all the bs of when you select flight then pay more to pick a seat, load your bag, take a p**s, blah blah blah...
Booked 3 return flights to Naples last month for April total including bags and pre booked seats £450. Now coming up at £535......
terrible airlines fuelled by lies
To everyone finding price went up with sale I checked flights I wanted in march n they have gone down 😁 glad I waited
Feels bad man... my flight went from £240 to £103 after booking 😭
