I know right X) went on camelcamelcamel and the highest it's been sold at is £45... So waaaaaay off that £109.99 haha

Bought something very similar to this from Gearbest a few months ago for about the same price. For the money it's a good deal , it runs a mapping software called iGo which is pretty good but I think finding updates may be a problem. The main drawback is that the 7" screen isn't really bright enough with the unit on the windscreen, it may be better to mount it further down the dashboard where there's not direct sunlight on it. For £30 it's worth a try especially if you're an oldie and need the larger screen for clarity.

just buy a 7" phablet with GPS from gearbest. I had a win CE 6 a few years ago painfull.

You can easily mount a nexus 7 in a double din space in any car

I don't know about anyone else but I'm fed up with Amazon and what they've done with their "Today's Deals" section. It seems to consist only of items which state "Please note that I have received this item at either a discount or for free in exchange for an honest review".
For some reason I don't want to buy anything someone has received either free or for a cheaper price. And despite what they say I'm sure their reviews aren't totally unbiased.

That's not strictly true or accurate, it also has a review from a "verified customer" of ..... 1 star - utter rubbish!

* Please note I have not been paid or given discount for this post

let's face it, if amazon was a shop, trading standards would have a field day.

Got a similar item off Ebay a couple of years ago. Never had a problem, got a link in the box for map updates and it takes normal data for POI/speed cams etc. Mine has a FM transmitter which pretty good, so music from the SD card can be used. For the price it's pretty good.

"I've sold my soul to Amazon in order to get loads of free tat that I can offload on unsuspecting victims on Ebay. I'll say I like poo if it means I'll get to lick it for free. Bribing me will get you a five star review."

I get that - but my point was that most of the items on the "Today's Deals" page are items which have been given out for free or more cheaply. The reviews for those items are made up of some verified customers and some targeted reviewers.

I just don't like it - maybe it's just me :-)

And when you see all 5 star reviews that say something similar then check there review status and find its there first review.
