Just ordered some, how’s the taste?
Love this and stocked up today but it really does not have the same taste and texture as normal full fat cheese

Slightly cheesy. A bit like easting plastic candles. Edible but.... meh.

For people who are old enough to remember, think carbolic soap

I actually really like it, I’m use to it now and it’s pretty mourish

Great price @Nattyborn2dance , never tried it, but worth a go at this price! heat added
Thought this would be a good buy at £2 - it resembles a rubbery plastic block, smells awful and is unpalatable to say the least - so for those reasons I'm out!

haven't voted cold because it is a good intro price for 350g

Once you get use to the odd texture and lack of taste, it's actually ok.
The saturated fat content is extremely low. A great replacement for normal cheese for those worried about cholesterol

Those would be the reasons as to why I wouldn't buy it!

11g of protein per 30g! And only 51 calories with 0.9 g fat.
I melt it on top of things, grate it and also just eat a cube as a snack. Yes it doesn’t taste like proper cheese but it does resemble it and perfect for those watching the calories etc but still want the pro

I bought 5 blocks yesterday. I’m obsessed lol
This is just low-fat cheese re-branded to rip off the idiots doing whatever fad diet it fits in with.
God this is bizarre. Just eat normal cheese? It's not too hard to squeeze into your macros. Musclefood sent me some of this and it was rank. Straight back to Cathedral City...

You speak like Karl too! "Rank" hahaha
Fat = taste. Suck all the fat out of a product and you also suck out all the taste (unless you pump it full of sugar, that is!)
Taking the fat out of stuff = over consumption of protein = conversion of protein into sugar = higher insulin spikes = MORE fat storage + LESS fat burning AND more hunger.

    No thanks.
Those worried about their health... Buy organic cheese. Minimum of 60% grass in the cows diet (I dread to think what % it can go down to in other cows) which means higher omega 3 ratios. And happier cows. And no chemicals.

    Good deal though OP.
    Sadly not in Scotland/Grampian!
I do have to wonder what the point of this is... normal cheese isn't exactly low in protein and probably tastes an awful lot better judging from the comments here. Marketing to suckers who are clueless as to the protein content of ordinary food?

Rather shocked with how nasty some people can be on here. It’s only my 2nd post maybe should be my last. I thought we were to share good deals . If it’s not nice maybe don’t say it... each to there own but I’m feeling a bit rubbish now about posting a deal which could benefit certain people

If you look at the temperature of the deal Nattyborn2dance you'll see that the vast majority of members appreciate your post and think it is a 'hot deal'.
I wouldn't worry about the odd negative comment on this, or any thread; it sadly seems to be a way of modern life for people to have a moan and look to pick holes.
Thank you for posting, welcome to HUKD and I look forward to seeing many more posts from you because it really is appreciated.

Pointing out a stupid product is hardly nasty. Classic 2018 where people are offended by genuine criticism...
