Good Dehumidifier.... had it for couple of months now.... doing good job...specially during this time of the year

Just be aware this one only has a dust filter that is rinsed under water and not a carbon filter like the 3650e.
There could be other differences but I'm going to be waiting for the 3650e to drop in price (currently 199 but had been 140ish in the past albeit for a very short time)

Does it require any upkeep or filter replacement or anything else?
Or simply buy it and that's it?
Thanks.

Finally some ebac deals coming through. Needed to buy one as this model I had for 10 years began to leak. But has been good all these years.

Just rinse the dust filter under water. The 3000 range has carbon filters that must be replaced every so often.

Same I'm waiting for the 3650e since this model began to leak after 10 years. I'd rather get the newer model then an old one.

Ebac is a good brand and this is a decent price reduction but this can't compare to the dessicant Ecoair (DD122) in performance. I would recommend the "simple" version of the DD122 at this price.

I've had the 2850e model for several years now and have been well pleased with it.

Any idea where we can get cheap replacement filters for this?

I know people who haven't replaced the filter and has been working fine for over a year.

The 3850e just came up at £144.99 at amazon on lightning deal, get it quick!

Do you all run the dehumidifier 24/7 or switch it on when required? Is it ok to let it run continuously like a fridge?
