It is a dehumidifier

It is white...

It is recommended by Which.

Oh and it is also much, much cheaper than anywhere else at the moment.

I've run out of things to say about it now......

Great price, hot, was going to order this earlier but went for the powerdri. Seems to be better value for £14 more (£299 on ebac's site).

Yep - thought about that one but got a no - go from wifie regarding the bright yellow colour of the powerdri..

Went for the yellow one too, but if you must have white this seems hot too

Youll need a divorce for that.

Likely to cost more than £69 though......

meh, its fine, its on her side

Thanks OP, tried to get the powerdri but it went OOS very quickly!.
I have a 10 litre Bliss one currently which doesnt do the job in the heights of winter in a 1 bed basement flat, hopefully this one will.

I will sell the 10 litre one in winter when the demand is high and hopefully get a good price from some desperate people

thanks again

Do not even bother with a cheap dehumidifier. This thing could only handle a small room with the windows closed and you would need to have it on 24/7.

If you have damp problems then get your windows looked at or buy a better dehumidifier.

OOS

wanted this but OOS only one left in stock is the heavy duty one at £139. Anyone know if its any good for a damp cellar? just ordered it.

Any dehumidifer will be good in a damp cellar. I have two down in mine (quite a big cellar) and it takes litres out every day.

Stopped a number of patches on walls and makes it smell miles better.

Word of warning the first time you use these they may draw damp OUT of your walls into the room, meaning you may have to do some re-painting.

Thanks for the heads up. Got PVC panels on most of walls and the ones that dont, are wet black and mouldy. Also the smell, hope the one just ordered sorts this problem out. Is it better to use these in winter or switch heating on? Also cost much in terms of electricity?

Sorry forgot to quote above user.

Bought this model a year ago for about double this price. Got rid of condensation problems immediately. Just change the filter every three months as recommended because they get stinking. Well done those who got it at this price.

Should sort your problem out. Not sure about electric cost but reviews on amazon and the like should give you some idea. I run mine fom September to March.

Do you have to purchase filters for these how much do they cost? thanks

Just had my order cancelled

Ordered cancelled too Via phonecall

Likewise.

B&Q are no longer on my Xmas card list.

Great price. I got one of these last year, really good and managed to get several litters of water out of the spare room.

Filters were expensive but last a long time if you vacuum them from time to time.
