This appears to be a really good price. Screwfix is still selling for a ridiculous price of £219.99.

Seems decent reviews too.

Bought to prepare for the winter.

HOT. This model is great (I already have one) so bought another as I have a huge damp basement that needs this running 24x7

Hot. Been looking for one of these for a while. Thanks OP!

That is real cheap with free delivery, bought one.

Thank you for posting. Amazing bargain.

£5 delivery

looks like a good deal, what are the noise levels like?

Not sure about this. The specs claim 3.5litre capacity - so at worse, you'll need to empty it 5 times a day!

My quick maths says 12.5 hours till it needs emptying (3500ml/280ml)

If it pulls 3.5 litres (capacity) out in 12 hours then its working well and worth the effort to empty.

Also think it has a hose so you can run it out a window if you don't want to empty the container.

I'd be happy changing it twice a day if it was pulling 3.5 litres out of my basement every 12 hours!

appears to be OOS online and not available to reserve and collect

great deal on this product , I was thinking of a different Ebac product and couldnt find it anywhere but at airconcentre.co.uk

We hd two of these to dry out a damp basement flat that had a leaking water pipe. At the start, the container was filling up every 6-8 hours but as things dried out and became normal, we were emptying every 12-24 hours.

Eventually, we migrated to a domestic Delonghi unit that had a really small container and would fill up after a day but was cheaper to run.

Once the pipe was repaired, we had tanking and damp proofing work completed by Kenwood and that made a difference but didn't cure the dampness in the flat.

B&Q just left a message to say no stock order cancelled & refund would be up to 15 days

Mine just arrived

mine has just arrived too…was gonna wait til september but i think i should check that it works going of some reviews!

The cancel my order not in stock

Just received mine but it'll be going back tomorrow, it's a bit too yellow to gain approval from the Mrs to have in the house(I thought it would be). Still awaiting my order of the Amazon 15 version though, I was expecting them to come together.

crap, just a call to tell me out of stock, money to be refunded

Turned up to day great service

Just had my Amazon 15 order cancelled, glad I haven't returned this one yet

I ordered it on line, and got an order acknowledgement. I also have had a phone call saying that the item is not able to be sourced by their suppliers. A refund will be made in five days.
B & Q are a load of crooks, their Reserve and Collect is also a disaster, I have tried it a couple of times, when you turn up to collect it, it's out of stock.
ONLY use B &Q if you go to the store and can take it away with yourself, a joke firm !!!!

Not totally fair.

Plenty of us did get this delivered and are happy. Unfortunately the "hot uk deals" effect can screw up stock levels and sell something out before the systems realise, you could have bought if it wasn't for the demand this very post created!

I got mine and very happy, as did plenty of others according to the comments, so you were just unlucky - they are hardly crooks.

Hi Mat20 we will have to agree to differ on this one, B&Q advertised an item, allowed myself and other people to order it on line and take payment.
They then leave a message on the answer phone saying their supplier cannot supply the item, and it will take up to 5 days to return funds to my credit card.
It is very unprofessional and misleading to advertise an item you do not have available to supply.
The main point is, B&Q are a large company, they should have a state of the art IT system, and I do appreciate when Hot UK Deals highlights an item the system may will busy.
The IT system should be able to reserve an item and allocate it to your basket, and take one off the rolling total. I have had problem with general items not on Hot UK Deals, we reserved 20 boxes of tiles on a Tuesday, when we went to collect them on Wednesday, the store said they are somewhere in the store but they were not sure where, so much for Reserve and Collect. We had to go back on Thursday once they had found them and called us.
You do not have this problem when buying concert tickets, the seats are placed in your basket and you have say 5 minutes to purchase them, if the seats are not available you cannot have them.
I think it is fair, as B&Q should have an IT system that works, and not mislead its customers. Not just Hot UK Deal customers.

Hi does anybody have a screenshot of the B and Q webpage with this on and the reduced price, if so please PM me as I ordered the heavy duty one 25ltrs at £139 and received this one which was £83.
Spoke to B and Q who said they will not refund difference as they do not have a record of the Ebac 18ltr one on their site and the only option to return and get a refund.
