it is a pile of firewood.. this is what I did with ours, I have a Keter playhouse that I am just about to mod to replace the coop end, it really is low quality.. don't be put off with red mite comments if you want wood have wood, red mite can appear anywhere its just easier to clean and less likely with plastic, I wouldn't have a felt roof though..

prob about three or four to start? its my sister thats getting them...

might be ok for 4-5 bantums, but could do with a bigger run, also, don't forget fox digging protection around edges. plus extra, preferably plastic coated high gauge wire a fox can't chew through (because the wire that's on it won't do it, speaking from experience) we got this one when on offer a few years ago, still going strong (now fortified)

I have chickens no way big enough to have as a run a swell, I have the coop one size up to this that houses 6-8 birds and I have four in mine.
They then have a 14ft x 12ft run around that coop.
And when I home they have free run of my garden.

thats rubbish. you dont get red mite with plastic runs.

if you dont mind abs plastic then go with omlet eglu. i wouldnt go with wooden ones...nightmare to clean...root and easier for foxes to break into

4 to 5 chickens in this run lol....i would say 3 max

yes you can, do some research before you claim my comment 'rubbish'

These are not fit for hens to live in without additional space, each hen needs 1m squared floor space. Omlet housing is excellent at resisting red mite, I have the Eglu and Cube and have had many other wooden houses, none are as good or easy to clean as the Omlet ones. I also have a huge walk in run and 12 very happy girls. With these houses you get what you pay for and a fox would certainly get its dinner from this one!

Small for the money. Pretty much this price everywhere I think. Lots of people buy a good shed and fix a separate run to it, which gives the hens more room and doesn't cost much more.

Nice, but very small. Keep 5 birds in this, and you'll have animal rights on your doorstep - if not the RSPCA.

Nice idea to link it to a bigger enclosure, though.

I've had this size before, terrible that they say its for upto 5 birds! I had two in mine and felt guilty and the run is nowhere near big enough, you'd have to build a large extension onto these. I upgraded in the end to a much larger coop
