This is a good offer however they really do need to sort out the seller protection, maybe even bring back the ability to return negative feedback to buyers. Been a ebay member for 11+ years too

I say this because i recently sold a £1.5k imac on ebay with a 14 day return policy, the buyer made a claim on the 28th day (yes somehow outside the 14 day returns) and opened a dispute that the screen had a crack in it - he obviously must've smashed the screen whilst moving it around. No matter how many photos i provided ebay still took the buyers side, so i had to partial refund the buyer £500 or accept a return with the smashed imac.

I also once had a buyer that claimed the 1tb SSD he bought off me wasnt working on the 14th day of the return. he sent it back, only for me to discover it was an empty SSD box!? Lucky i had photos of the weight difference when i sent the package to the one i recieved otherwise i wouldve lost £250 (at that time).

Most transactions go fine, but i would say to all to be very weary when selling on ebay and make sure you take many photos to cover yourself as a seller and always keep your postage receipts. And if you receive a return maybe even go as far as video yourself opening it.
Nice one SteveLondon!

Time to sell all the stuff I bought on Black Friday
Quick tip, if you have nothing to sell at the moment simply make blank 30 day Buy it now or 10 Day Auction Listings then simply amend them when you need, this saves me Hundreds of Pounds in seller Fees.
alot of seller started getting off from eBay, as there is incredible amount of scammers and almost no seller protection at all. That's why this offers started appearing so often now. If you selling something, even if you put NO RETURN ACCEPTED, buyer still have 60 days to use the item and return it to you lol, i had this case. One guy bought headphones from me, and as you know eBay has 30 days buyer protection, so this guy claimed faulty or broken item on the last day of his protection(so he used it for a month already and probably was full of ear wax lol) after that i had no choice, so i accepted it and i had to provide return label( if you don't do it, eBay will refund to the buyer and you will lose money and item) So after that when you gave him return label he still has another 30 days to post it LOL, how funny is that? There is no seller protection on eBay, that's my experience. So be carefull, i'm suggesting you to sell face to face on cash only.

What’s that then?
Perfect timing, thanks!
Thanks OP!
The last 3 haven’t worked on my account but this one has.
Maybe a silly question... But will this mean I will only have to pay £1 if I list an item and the item sells? For example let's say a phone and it sells for £500... Does that mean no other fees are applied? Selling fees etc

£1 eBay fees
paypal fees remain as normal

then you’ll have shipping to pay for.
Shame it didn't work at the same time as the current 15% code. Lot's of motivated buyers today and tomorrow.

Can anyone tell me if list an item as fixed price under this offer, which then sells in, say, a month’s time, will I only pay £1 in fees? Or does the item have to sell in a certain period?

Thanks - just checked any it's on our account
Heat added, OP!
Quick tip, if you have nothing to sell at the moment simply make blank 30 day Buy it now or 10 Day Auction Listings then simply amend them when you need, this saves me Hundreds of Pounds in seller Fees.
Ebay r u crazy? You are taking front page without taking hostages.
Buy something today with 15% off and sell at weekend for quick £2 profit
Do I have to list and sell it between those times? I.e. list on Friday to end before midnight Monday or can I list Friday for a week?

I usually get an email from a buyer saying "what are you actually selling here?" lol.

Or if I relist an old item at 2000% more than rrp (as a placeholder) I get an "Why are you charging so much!?! You know its a lot cheaper to buy elsewhere!?!?")
Thank you so much for posting this, I need this badly !!

Should get 30 days to sell I think. Just be careful about auto relisting from eBay if it doesn't sell

My understanding is that it must be listed while the offer is active but doesn’t have to be sold before the offer ends. It usually has to sell within 30days but check the ts & cs

how do you create blank listings? dont you have to add a category, photo and description to make a listing?
Finally!

I'd not been accepted into the last few of these. Great timing.
Thanks. No idea why they don't just make this permanent. Everyone just waits for the offers
YES!!!
remember that you need to click the link and then opt in before you are eligible for the offer.
