So a about 3 percent discount in effect.
Spend £150 to get a £5 voucher...wow what a deal!
So 1000 points is a fiver ?
I got this on my account, what a terrible offer though having to spend £150 to get £5 back.
Hardly a great incentive.

I’d jump on this if 70% of my nectar points actually showed up

Better than a fart in the face.
Nectar points?
Why are people complaining? It's free money if you were planning to spend the money anyway....
Exactly!

Double up coming soon, last time I bought 4 copies of Red Dead Redemption for £100 of nectar points (doubled to £200), walked up to CEX and got £40 each cash.
So £160 in my pocket for doing nothing but shop a bit on eBay (linked to my nectar) and the odd shop at sainsburys 2 minutes down the road.
Another tip I read on HUKD, was to buy a packet of chewing gum or something from the self service before your full shop to get a wad of unexpired nectar vouchers with your receipt. (my vouchers always seem to have expired if I keep them from my last shop).

I did it with Red Dead Redemption and Forza Horizon 3. Good money

Nectar points are so dead. Literally the worst value points I've ever seen. But can't complain. £5 off a spend of £150...better than nothing if you're going to buy big anyway.

Never seen Morrisons. What's the deal on that one? I'm with tesco but tbh even that has declined in value from previously.
why are people hating on this? i've seen people go through quidco for pennies and say "its better than nothing/every penny counts etc" this is esentially the same.

if someone was going to buy something new/2nd hand from ebay anyways for £150+ arent they esentially getting 1000 points for "free" and you cant really compare this to any other retailer because where else can you buy 2nd hand goods and earn points of any kind?
Best you can get on CEX now is £11.

Well he was giving an example of a year ago when the promotion was last on, not suggesting to buy the same this year

Have a Morrison’s in my local town, no petrol station and our bits and pieces shopping style rather than a big weekly shop means we don’t get the bonuses to gain meaningful amounts of points. For us personally, it’s fuel at Tesco’s that makes the difference for us. But with all of these, it’s a bonus and better than nothing.

True. If I had a petrol car, I'd use tesco but I do get what you're saying. Only with fuel are any of these schemes worth it. I just don't trust supermarket fuel. The lack of additives and debatable diluting of it... I just can't afford to take that risk.

I’ll be buying whatever new release comes out at the time this year. Last year I should have opened them up and taken out the maps and sold those on ePay also, but I didn’t think of that till after, CEX would have still given me £40 per game opened and with the map taken out.
I’ll be looking for a game with a map or something this year.

Tesco’s diesel, bottle of redex every 3rd tank for me. I currently do 120-130 mile round trip for work.
I saw that but it was only on certain things like tech. Because I spent £200 on 20 x 4k bluray from zoom I don't think those were valid.

I see your point but I find it easier to just fill up at shell all the time. Never once had engine management light come on.

I also use hydra cetane booster.

I had no idea. I kind of think these crappy schemes are just to make people stay to one brand.

Personally I find modern day corporations and companies to be disloyal to their workers and customers when it suits them.

Why should I have any loyalty to them in return?
