Noticed this under my eBay messages possibly account specific but worth checking this good for my case as I want to reserve a high value item and don't wanna spend a fortune on the reserve price.

Account specific this is the standard when selling through eBay . No deal here. COLD

This is an ongoing offer, they always allow you to list 100 items for free each month and only pay when you sell.

The offer everyone is interested in is the £1 final value fee, as opposed to their standard 10% commission!

Really...what a crap deal. I have been using Ebay for over 15 years and I always paid only if I sold. Who pays if they did not sell? The real deal is the £1 max sale fee which they do every few weeks.

Cold. Standard offer mate.

I got list 10 items, no FVF (apart from paypal fee)

It means no listing fees

The £1 FVF is the "real" deal.. Saved myself nearly £200 on the last round.
Listings are lined up, ready and waiting..

I got this offer too, I had something I wanted to list for less than a tenner so it was worth it to me.

Fantastic deal.....

Ordered loads of gear off ebay and don't plan to sell any of it ...winner!

Any clue when the might run this again? I have a bunch of crap to sell and it's not worth selling at market rate with eBay fees on top..

I was expecting it to be this weekend (Sun 5-Mon 6th), but no sign of any communication on this yet (no leaks).

I suspect that eBay won't want to promote the £1 final value listing for a few months, as they are bound to drive up Christmas sales from usual sellers, and after Christmas, they'll probably promote "sell your unwanted Christmas gifts".

I really hope my assumption is wrong though, as I want the £1 fee ASAP!

They always do at least one £1 FVF offer before Christmas. Last year they did one around black friday (end of Nov) and another 75% off FVF early Dec. I'm expecting 2-3 good offers for selling fees before the end of the year. The usually show up on a Sunday so there's a chance we'll get one in the morning.

And then get the complaints over the length of time it takes to deliver items in the mad Xmas rush
