Got an alert for a chunk off a cheap iPhone for a project for someone and as far as can see it was the lowest price, with a warranty could find.

There are tons of reductions and great value deals on this new eBay section, also a lot of different models, specs and types..

Instead of posting lots of different threads, for the same thing, thought would post the whole offer section and then some prime ones below ;-)

All the decent sellers have 12 months on the refurbished hardware and some are actually cheaper that Amazon Warehouse deals..

Apple iPhones all models
HTC all models
Samsung all models
Microsoft Lumia all models
LG some models
& a few others thrown in as well..

Last time eBay tried this, the stock flew out of the door on the popular ones, so if you are after a particular model, do not hang about!

Think as in *think* it all ends next week sometime or when the stock has gone ;-)

At that price, it's tempting enough just to buy it for the little one for gaming.

Hmmm. having looked at some of the phones, their idea of good condition seems to be light years away from mine:

Awesome work on that, nice one!
Good price on the G3 I think?
Some decent offers on there
Having read some of the descriptions, I'd hate to see their interpretation of "average" condition...

There are a few G3's which are about 19 pages down on the main list, one of the sellers [good one] has
a few left and since this was posted, he has sold 8 so guessing it is a good G3 price.. plus as it is only
a 12 month warranty, you can afford to have a play and put a much later version of android on it so that
it fly's with a custom rom or..

Official LG Marshmallow 6 OTA & Full firmware now available!

Me too, if any buyers can let us know:)
DON'T DO IT!! I bought an HTC m8 from them a couple of weeks ago. It clearly had issues so I contacted them. No reply. I contacted them a few days later. No reply. A week, 10 days, nothing. Had to get Ebay involved, who to their credit emailed me a paid and tracked package label to send it back, and once signed for I was refunded immediately. No contact to this day. Feedback looks good, but look a little closer before buying.

AVOID.

That was 1 phone from 1 seller.. there are lots of sellers in this deal and sounds like you had issues with yours.. that is the wonderful thing about the Bay and Pay-O-Pal.. the buyer is 100% protected, regardless of who is at fault with any
issues with a purchase ;-)

Ah, each one I looked at was musicmagpie. In that case disregard my comment, EXCEPT for musicmagpie!

Too good?
Bought from the Music Magpie site the other day as they mailed me a discount code for 20% off iPhones. That made an phone 5s around 95GBP with free postage, so better than fleabay. It was a grade C so I took my chances as it was to replace a smashed 4s. It arrived within 2 days even though I ordered it Easter Sunday and was almost immaculate. Charged already and working within minutes. I was very impressed. The only issue was that their advert said 'all iphones' but the 20% off only seemed to apply to the 5s and below.

That seller's very hit and miss, seems to depend on luck mostly.

Claims "Good to Excellent Cosmetic Condition" but in the description "Moderate scratches and scuffs on the aluminium back casing and sides"

Yeah copied the wrong bit.
Need an iPhone 5s on 3. Does 3 work on any other networks or will I have to buy unlocked?
The link takes you to a list saturated with 16GB iPhone 5 variants. Users have woken up to the fact that to use the power of a smartphone you start at 32GB. Hence the offloading you see here. Also note that anything below a 5s will be underpowered on latest resource hungry IOS apps.
Great work op
Thanks ordered an iPhone 5S - will be doing the iPhone 6 mini housing !
Just looking through the list and wondering what I should expect to pay for an iPhone 5s as there seems to be quite a variance. Also it needs to be on BT so do I need to get an unlocked one? Sorry for all the questions -
Any dual sim phone?

3 is 3. It obviously doesn't work on other networks. You need an unlocked handset.

Surely any locked to EE would work?

And eBay won't ban you no matter how many items you return.
thesun.co.uk/sol…tml
Just a warning, any 6,12,24 month warranty is essentially useless as once you have passed the time that ebay or paypal will help (45 days I think) then the seller has no reason to help you out whatsoever.

I bought a brand new phone through a seller with a 12 month warranty, it failed after 3 months, the seller won't even reply to messages. They got positive feedback when the phone arrived all ok and I can't change that. Reported them to ebay but they won't get involved with warranty issues.

So be aware, although I am sure not all sellers are like this, they really have nothing to lose by refusing to honour the warranty after the 45 days have passed.

Tbf, it should have said "excellent working order" lol

Music Magpie are a crap for cash site. They pay about £73 for a locked 16gb iPhone 5s. They'll get checked by their "in-house technician" (read: someone from Eastern Europe on minimum wage) to make sure they turn on and grade them, then they sit in a warehouse until they get listed on eBay for £135-£160.
Can't fault those prices.
£85 for a 16gb iPhone 5c to take on holiday as I don't want to risk my 6s plus.
Well worth it for a bunch of cheap phones.
