Best to wait for the £1 max selling fee offer, that often comes up, unless the majority of the stuff you are selling is less than £20.

I have loads of clothes to sell so have been waiting on this rather than the £1 max for a while
None in both account.

Got this, thanks.
This is for 3 days, not 2.

This does not start until midnight tonight.
I was just posting this deal as it didn`t come up when I did a search.....The offer I got is from midnight 5th till midnight 8th.....so 3 days. Also the same on partners account.
Handy as I have a few low value items to list.

Yeah, I think these promos are aimed at getting infrequent or new eBayers to start selling more. Sadly, us that like to recycle our stuff a lot, miss out on most of these deals ): I haven't had one of these FVF cuts in ages.

make sure you click on the message in your ebay account and not the link here

That might be why. I went from selling 20 items a month to rarely sell anything on eBay since the prices became extortionate. Generally I'll get an 'invite' to one in every two £1 FVF deals.

If you can find another way to sell your stuff then do - Gumtree, Spock, FB - although I understand that it's not always that easy when eBay clearly has the monopoly!

Hopefully that will change soon however. Really doesn't seem worthwhile for individual personal sellers who have to pay 15% charges incl PayPal, and get ripped off on postage.

I sold an iPad on eBay recently and they forced me to offer first class postage at £4.40 and then have the cheek to charge FVF fee on the postage cost too. Raw postage cost to me was £6.70 plus package costs. Nearly £30 in charges and costs to sell a £165 item! No thanks
I have two items for £50 each already listed.

Can I be bothered to resist just to save £2.50 on each?

No. No I can't.

Yes these deals are better for low value stuff. The £1 offer likely back next week knowing ebay lol.

Have you opted into promos on your account?? Probably opted out at some point...
Its too risky to sell anything valuable on ebay as their seller protection means nothing when compared to their buyer protection.
Dont find out the hard way guys...

Is that when they tend to run the big promos?
strange, I activated the offer. Was told that the listings I put up yesterday were eligible for 50% off FVF. I just sold an item and was charged the usual amount. In the list of the number of auctions with the offer was reduced to from 2 to 1!! So have cancelled and relisted my other item otherwise will be charged full FVF again.

So watch out as I have seen people mention that it was valid on Saturday. eBay will catch you out. Luckily it was only 23p more I had to give to eBay but it is the principal
the best way to get these offers is to not sell anything at the full 10% FVF

That's the offer I need right about now. Just upgraded smart phones, not had any interest on sphock or gumtree for my old one and not wanting to have a £20+ fee on the sale with eBay currently. > <

seems to be, random mostly but usually better chance on holiday type days i.e bank holiday! although one did recently end about two weeks ago for £1 listings.
I have a ton of stuff under £20 to list but I've not sorted it yet. Also have some £10-£20 listings from the £1ffv listings so will list them under this offer :-)
eBay need to treat heir sellers fairly rather than have all of this promotional junk. If they did then more of us would sell and they could reduce their exorbitant fees.

Unfortunately, this promotional offer is not available to you.
Maybe if they stopped ripping people off and lowered their fees people would start using them again.

The rise of facebook marketplace will surely kill a lot of their business.. good to see them on the back foot at last.
