Nice find, and at least one of the ebuyer user reviews specifically states that it works fine on Vista, so I'm not sure why you imply that it does not.

I got one of these Ebuyer wireless mice a few days ago for my Eee PC. Works fine under the as-shipped Linux. A mate uses the same mouse with XP on his Eee PC.

I like the way that the wireless dongle plugs back into the mouse when you have finished using it. This switches the mouse off :-)

Only problem we've noted has been the total lack of instructions ! A single sheet manual would have been nice.

Mouse has a button to select a wireless channel, and the USB dongle has a similar button. However I've not used these buttons, and my mouse just works immediately that the USB dongle is inserted into the Eee PC (and I move the scroller wheel on the mouse).

Current consumption is 60mA. So with 2 NiMH AAA rechargeables of 800mAh each, that should give 10+ hours of battery life ?

Reason i said it didn't work with Vista is that ebuyer's System Requirements section didn't mention Vista. However, what you have pointed out does seem correct.

I'm using the Hybrio AAA NiMH batteries. GBP 3.00 per pack of 4 from ASDA, if you can find a store that's still got them in stock. They're 800mAh.
