Why did you put spaces in those links? :?

Wasn't this posted a few days ago?

The remote is pretty average to be honest and suffers from a fairly common timing chip fault.

Price is pretty good though.

This site would be pretty much lost without them to be honest. ;-)

If anyone wants to find out more information just Google theres quite a few forums with information about the issue. It seems that the timing chip may develop a fault which causes the clock to not work and the LCD to stay on all the time.

I also noticed that it seemed to be very slow at responding to button presses (and the delays were set to 0) it was to the point of me pressing a button sequence and the remote having to catch up, much like when your computer is running very slow and you're trying to type!

When you compare a remote like this to a pronto, it is average, and bearing in mind you could get a boxed pronto (RU950) with charging base off ebay for £100 there is no comparison.

PS I would advise anyone to research for themselves and don't just go off my opinion!

IMHO a Pronto is butt ugly. :whistling: Some of you may like that? I dunno? If you're looking for something with a winkle more Myleen (Klass) then this here Harmony is the way forward. I have one and it is, to use an expression, ''da bomb.''

Wise words Guvnor! Even though researching remote controls does seem a step too far. I've done it and have suffered sleepless nights.

The pronto 950 also has problems, a quick 10 second search on google:
