If you are asking yourself that, then probably not.
I already have just the studio bit, and used it loads when I had a business on ebay, and no (before anyone points it out) you can't fit big things in it - so no stuffed elephants, but 99% of what I sold fitted in fine.
Now I just sell the odd thing and for £20 it's more than acceptable to use now and again.

If you have to buy lamp holders (a couple of desk lamps would probably do) and then the bulbs- I spotted some low energy photo ones on ebay fairly cheap, but it will probably cost you more than this whole package.

But what if the old studio won't fit into the new studio? How you going to photograph that for ebay without starting a 'Russian Doll' scenario?

What sort of bulbs do you have to buy? Does the material in the cube not diffuse the light so you can get away with any old bulb?

I'm no expert, but I believe it's to do with the colour - normal bulbs are kinda yellowish light.

I just returned this. I would STRONGLY advise against it. Literally bought it at the £25 mark.

The actual unit is great but the light units are not worth it. They provide such poor light that I still require a flash. Please think twice and take the reviews with a pinch of salt.

I say this is cold.

Thanks G0OSE - very useful.

I SOME HOW JUST GOT FREE DELIVERY ON an Ebuyer item ! I clicked back or something like that an it give me free delivery next day too

Exactly right, the lights on this are simply not strong enough and you will need to compensate for exposure and white balance in any shots you take to get even close to average results. I had one and ended up binning the lights.

You should take every eBuyer review with a pinch of salt. They filter out any negative reviews... all you have to do is browse around the site and see an unusual amount of highly rated items.
I refuse to use them now because of what they do. I bought a '5* rated' pair of headphones (that weren't cheap - £60) only for them to fall apart in a couple of months. I left my review, but woe and behold it was never approved!

Would this be a good setup to take photos of jewelery?

I was also going to try this, for £16 I dont mind giving it a go

PS I also got free next day delivery!

Yes, you do still need a flash. But that's by design. The lights are "fill" lights.
They're intended to illuminate the shadow areas and stop a flash-only shot looking harsh.
You know, like professionals do it.......

I wouldn't pay any more than £5 for this, cold from me.

These lights are rubbish and they get very hot.

Get a cheap lighting tent from Ebay or make your own, two desk lamps and some daylight bulbs. Best bulbs are these, although not cheap.

Poor product.

Bought one of these off amazon as these are exactly the same. Poor quality and the way the material has been folded leaves awful marks in the picture.

Ended up building my own light box with daylight bulbs at a fraction of the cost

And that would give you mixed lighting if these lamps aren't the same colour temp as your strobe, which I doubt they are.
