Bought this previously an it works really well. Holds its charge for ages and charges phone or tablet quickly. A real steal at this price.

Thanks OP, perfect timing.

My fav battery bank. Have the 1st and 2nd Gen

19.99 is a nice price, not been cheaper in a while cept the price glitch last year. Heat.

Perfect timing!

Are these clearly labeled for air travel? Can someone please confirm the labeled capacity in watt hours for this model? My son needs one for his China trip in October and this looks pretty good.

I think it's 112 watt hours, is that correct?

what is the warranty on this? quite a few 1 star reviews

I just read an Amazon review which points out that the unit uses 3.7 volt cells and steps up the output, so the capacity works out to just under 83 watt hours - well inside the air travel limit of 100. Not so sure about the high number of one star reviews...

I have the first gen of this and sorry I don't have it with me right now but I have flown with it a few times. I do put it in a separate tray with other electricals to be safe, but never had a problem.

I'd say the light on this is a bit of a gimmick that most people will never use but it does no harm. Also, for anyone wondering - it will charge more than an iPad, Samsung Tab or iPhone!

I tend to take this with me even for hotel stays in the UK because you never get plug sockets near the bedside these days, so having this on the bedside table means I can charge my phone overnight and keep it next to me - therefore saving me from getting up to go over to the desk or whatever when the alarm goes off in the morning!

Tested one of these electronically and it certainly didn't have anywhere near the capacity stated!

It depends upon an airlines company whether you can carry this with you in your hand baggage or not but it's allowed to keep in your hold luggage. Great battery to take with you while you are on trip and not sure about the watt hours.

1 year standard warranty.

I already own one of these. My daughter/gradaughter keep borrowing it for camping! Never let them down. Cannot fault this price with code.

Yup, thanks OP.. Absolutely fantastic bit of kit! Got two 1st Gen myself already and just about to order a third (I use them for powering other things such as LED lighting on a campsite as well as they will stay on constant if it detects drainage).

If you want a portable charger you CANNOT get better than this little beauty!

I successfully got 9 FULL, from virtually flat, charges of an LG G3 and Nexus 7 1st Gen combination from mine while at festival last year with 1 bar still left on it coming home.

One of mine which I bought just over 1 year ago developed a fault on the 2Amp port, contacted EC Technology on Thursday last week and a free no quibble replacement has been shipped and will be with me via Collect+ today. I don't even have to return the old unit (which still works fine on the 1Amp port - bargain)

Thanks for this op - only bought this last week on the 'Prime Special Day' on Amazon and paid £23!! Have ordered this today and will be returning the one bought last week! Heat added

No need to return and re-order. Just contact Amazon and they'll refund the difference.

not sure to buy this or wait for a offer on the Anker ones to drop.

Hi all, if you have one, can you tell me how heavy this is please? I have an old power pack which is so heavy I never feel like taking it anywhere! Thanks I'm advance!

Fantastic. I have the old one and just bought the new one too. Many thanks op.

Is this better than Anker? Anker is selling 16000mah for £20.

I have one of these , not sure which Gen but worth mentioning thats its very heavy if wanted for carrying around in a bag etc other than that great product and fast charge

No difference between this and the Anker to be honest

which anker, the 16000 for £20?

For £20 I think I'll take a punt at it

Anker® 2nd Gen Astro E5 16000mAh 2-Port (3A Output) Portable Charger External Battery Power Bank with PowerIQ™ Technology on Amazon for £20

Looks good, have ordered one to supplement my 20000mah Vinsic unit on this year's camping trip to Cornwall.

"3 USB charging Port (2.4A for ipad, 2A for Samsung Tab, 1A for iPhone)"

Cold from me... I would only consider one that has "intelligent ports" that can offer >2A on each port depending on the device. There is no place for a 1A port on the current power banks.

From Amazon description:

Portable size at 6.2 x 3.1 x 0.8 inch, 0.99lb = 449G. Its heavy for carrying everyday but not too bad for suitcase/rucksack occasional use.

I got one of these a couple of months ago when it was on offer to take to Glastonbury. It works very well and charged my Note 4 about 6 times and still had power left.

The one downside is it is quite big/heavy compared to e.g. the EE power bar but given the high capacity quite understandable.

what would happen if you charged the wrong device on the wrong port? Isnt that what the PowerQ tech does on anker products, you can stick the device in any slot and it will charge accordingly to the device?

I don't have any scales handy but I would say it's the same as 4 medium apples, a large orange plus 3 marbles. I hope this helps.

cracing purchase. have one from a previous bargain code and its heavy... but worth it....!!! great bit of kit

EE's powerbar would struggle to half charge a Note 4...

just weighed it, about 320 grams

I had to send 2 of these back 1st gen though. Gave me a 3rd but didn't change my review. Bought an Anker one and never looked back. Travel between Liverpool and Scotland all the time and could not be without one! Brilliant with today's power mad gadgets.

So glad I didn't order this last night, I wanted to order a tablet bag and other things so held off until this morning and had a quick look on HUKD there it is £9 off. Perfect timing so glad I waited Thanks OP
