3rd gen echo dot with smart. I was looking this morning and the price was £50! Checked this afternoon and they're back on offer with a free smart socket. Seems a descent price at this moment in time.

Smart plug sells for £15 on average if you don't need it Voted hot

I think closer to £10 really but this is a good combo pack at £30. Though HUKD users must have more Echos and smart plugs than they know what to do with by now!
Best setup is. Plug the dot into the smart plug and ask Alexa to turn the socket off...

Good price matching John Lewis with the Google Nest Mini deal which I bought. The dot’s also available in other colours too at the same price.
Glad there was a description, from the picture thought it was another lazy spa post
Got the wife a grey one she’s always using my daughters

Ordered in Grey 👌👌👌
So tempting.....decisions, decisions.

Heated up and thanks for posting
Damn it @guboon I don't need another dot or smart plug.....

they'll b delivered tomorrow
Almost bought. Already have 3 Echo dots and a Plus but the plug is tempting me....effectively a free smart plug if you sell on the dot.
Thanks, just ordered
I already have 2 dots, ordered this one......HUKD is costing me money, I am going to have to exercise more will power...
Nooooooooooooooo
Must resist this great deal, I have still got 35 litres of screenwash to try and use up, as for echo dots , if I laid them all out I am sure the dots would make a picture.
Heat Added
The WiFi plug sell on ebay new £10 to £11 if your lucky.
Damn, bit the bullet!!! Good deal and I've wanted one of these wifi plugs for a while....sad I know...I must be the only person on hukd's that doesn't own one!!!

Must say, these little dots have some cracking sound for such a diminutive unit.

Was also tempted by the echo plus and then get the mission battery base for that party anywhere feeling....

So wish my sonos one had the same functionality....bluetooth and portability without the extortionate cost of a sonos move.......

Thanks for posting

Are these dots any good in stereo pair? Thinking of getting one for the other bedside table
Nice deal, bought. Should be fine as a pair, probably needed to cable them together

They work great as a paired stereo system, really easy to set up in the app too

Like all things amazon they don't always run smooth but when they do its great.

If you have alexa compatible devices they become a little more useful - you might even have devices you didnt know were compatible; I have a ring doorbell and t.v that are compatible and didn' t know (unfortunately the ring no longer sends notifications - you get used to things not working pretty quickly).

Abother great feature I discovered recently is routines; I can swith on/off my t.v, xbox and hue lights at the same time with one command.

Still great even if you don't have alexa compatible devices; you can listen to music, ask questions, call your mobile if you lose it, set reminders, alarms, play games, read books and more.
