Take a look at the info :

  • Echo Plus has a built-in Zigbee hub to easily set up and control your compatible smart home devices, and an improved sound for streaming music.
  • Premium speakers powered by Dolby play 360° audio with crisp vocals and dynamic bass response. You can also adjust equaliser settings within the Alexa app.
  • Just ask Alexa to play music, read the news, check weather forecasts, set alarms and timers, control compatible smart home devices, call anyone with an Echo device, the Alexa App or Skype, and more.
  • Set up your smart home without a separate hub. Ask Alexa to control compatible Zigbee smart lights, plugs and more. Echo Plus also includes a built-in temperature sensor.
  • Ask Alexa for a song, artist or genre from Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, TuneIn and more. With multi-room music, you can play music on your compatible Echo devices in different rooms.
  • Call almost anyone hands-free including UK mobile and residential numbers (from UK only), other Echo devices, Alexa app and Skype. Link your Vodafone account to make and receive mobile calls. Instantly drop in on other rooms in your home or make an announcement to every room with a compatible Echo device.
  • With seven microphones, beam-forming technology and noise cancellation, Echo Plus hears you from any direction - even while music is playing.
  • Designed to protect your privacy. Built with multiple layers of privacy protection and control, including a Microphone Off button that electronically disconnects the microphones.

God give me strength as I'm weak and cannot resist echo devices
The Plus is overkill. Regret getting mine. The built-in thermometer allows me to ask "what's the temperature in the lounge" which I suppose is nice, but the Zigbee hub has so far gone unused - not for want of trying to find zigbee devices for reasonable pennies. The audio quality isn't brilliant either - it's just as tinny as the Echo Dot but with a woofer added on. For better audio I'd look elsewhere.
