I’m dead keen to get started with the Hue bulbs, got a few smart plugs in one room for now. Is this the best kind of deal to start off with? If not, what you techies think is the best way to the bulbs integrated across the house.
Well 2 hue colour bulbs on amazon the other day on here were £55 - so you’re then basically getting the amazon screen for £35...sounds good to me.

Yes, good one.

Would suggest to get a starter kit as well, 3 bulbs and hub, if under £100 deal, amazon

Basically, on good deals colour bulbs drops to £23-25 each. (all mine are es27)

I’d pick up a starter kit with the hub first, then you can add the Bluetooth bulbs later if preferred. The hub will allow you to control them when you are away from the home too and link up with IFTTT too to use Alexa for colour loops etc.

Three types of bulbs - white (gives warm white light), ambiance (gives range of whites) and colour (ambiance + colour). Most people will just use as normal warm white. So I will suggest to go for basic starter pack with 3 white bulbs and hub first. Costs around £50 during one of best deals.
Thanks for the tips guys
