What I find amazing is that in the usa they got the echo show 8 and echo show 5 bundle for $69.99 . I think that deal is still on. We are certainly not getting good deals this year. £69.99 seems to be the standard price nowadays in the UK for echo show 8 (edited)

Does the show 8 auto show the door (when doorbell is pressed) as the show 5 doesn't, at least for me

£37.49 to trade in my 5 show - which I don't like - tempted. I have the original 8 and whereby I use the 8 all the time, the 5 is too small for the screen to be useful (edited)

I think this only works after you return the device and it's inspected right?
So likely won't get credit/discount in time for offer end

Great item, but for me massively let down by the fact the will not allow zoom to be installed in the UK, bit they do in the USA!

You can't download apps - these are skills driven... so you'd add a tapo skill in the Alexa app, link Amazon to TP-Link and it will then control your devices with nothing but the power of your voice (and a bit of electricity, the Internet and some Amazon super servers to work out what you're asking!)

If you need a button on the screen of the Echo then you just need to add the "Smart Home Favourites" widget to the Echo and add the TP-Link plug as a favourite.

Bought the Show 15 recently. Some apps from Fire 🔥 TV stick work on Echo Show 15. But touchscreen does not work for Fire 🔥 TV on Echo Show 15 . Wish Amazon bought 🔥 Fire TV to smaller Echo screens with Touchscreen function. (edited)
