I really don't understand this rule as it is fulfilled by Amazon, and so has the same protection ad Amazon products.

I never knew that was a thing on Amazon, everyday is a school day.
I posted a deal last week for a robot vaccuum on deal of the day for £150 and it got removed. i got a message from admin as below:-

Hi furiousjammin,

Thank you for your recent post "Lefant T700 Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop - Works with WiFi, Alexa and Mobile App £149.99" but we’re afraid that this has been removed as the marketplace seller is unsuitable for listing on hotukdeals. As a minimum we look for:

Ebay - UK based business seller with 12 months feedback of 300+ with a minimum score of no less than 95%.

Amazon/other marketplace sites - Business seller with 12 months feedback of 300 with a score of mostly “Above Average”.

AliExpress - marketplace has been trading for at least a year with 300 feedback and a score of not less than 95%.

If you’ve got any questions about this please feel free to reply to this message and one of the team will get back to you.

Thats exactly what i said. Im with you. Surely if fulfilled by amazon, you have the same return and guarantee rights as sold by amazon. I dont see why its a problem.
