The Ecozone Moonlight uses NASA space technology developed to illuminate cockpit panels to give off a restful, soft green light, suitable for use throughout the home at night.

Save Money
The Moonlight uses a high tech LED panel so there are no bulbs to blow, break or replace. Utilising a special capacitor to step down the voltage of the unit, this slim energy saving unit will run continuously for less than 1p per week. This will not only cut down on your electricity consumption, reducing your carbon footprint, but will also save you money in comparison to traditional night lights. The Moonlight uses only 4.38 kWH per year compared with 61 kWH for a regular 7 watt night-light.

The Ecozone Moonlight is guaranteed for 3 years.

Feel Safe
The soft green light is ideal for providing night lighting in a variety of locations such as bedrooms and corridors. As the panel is cool to the touch it is also suitable for use in children’s rooms, making rooms feel safer with a gentle, diffused light which is very easy on the eyes.

The modern, unobtrusive design makes it suitable for use throughout the home so it is not necessary to remove during the day. The Moonlight is so light and compact it is also perfect to take with you when travelling, where its gentle glow makes hotel rooms safer to move around in at night.

Warning
For Indoor use only. Do not use in bathrooms.

ive had two of these things die within 6 months.

I have these and they so far they have been very reliable. Like to cool green glow, just enough lighton the landing to stop me falling down the stairs in the middle of the night

I agree there! I was gonna buy a couple for my Mother, but can't be bothered if that would happen all the time....Hmmmm, glow worms sounds like a plan! haha

Just ordered one and heat added Thanks

Looks ok for a fiver, thanks.

You don't need to buy a jam jar.
They come free with jam.

I bought one last year when they were on here - no problem and has been on every night on landing. May get another one for little girls bedroom as much lower level light than her current halogen bulb lamp

Thumbs up from me

Well Ive had mine for 4 years now and still going strong.(_;)

Its a nice soothing light and covers a surprisingly big area,

Heat and Light added!

I use a 'tesco greener living energy saving automatic night light' which is sort of egg shaped and uses a single while LED. Must have had it now for the best part of a year and it hasn't failed - has a 'dusk to dawn' detector on it.

I actually bought two at the time because they were really cheap [can't remember how mush, but maybe around £3?] and didn't really expect it to last, but I've so far been proven wrong.

Can't find them on the website, but I have seen them from time to time instore locally. Will have a look when down today.

They are marketed under the 'Tesoc Greener Living' theme.

There seem to be too many failures mentioned for this particular deal I feel, though looks like a cool idea.

Price back up to £8.44 already.

This is now showing up as £8.44

That's third party.

Amazon themselves must have sold out...

Mine died in 3 months. This deal reminds me that I need to organize myself to return it. Thanks !

No reliability. No thanks.

It seems to be back in stock again

ordered, mine lasted for over 2 years.no cmplaints for a fiver.

Mine lasted for 3days before dying and waited over a month for a refund from Amazon.

Don't waste your time.

Had mine for years without any issues what so ever, voted hot

These are pretty good.

Mine died within 3 months. Rubbish.

You clearly don't understand how things like LED's, neons ..etc generate their light, if you did then you would realize you have been extremely unlucky with your single unit and asked for a replacement instead of a refund!!
LED's have HUGE MTBF's compared to Candescent lighting and use ultra low current to produce impressive amounts of lumens. LED lighting is the future imho.

i bought 2 of these the last time they were on offer, both dead within 6 months

Way things are going in this country, candles may be the future...

If we are so concerned about carbon footprint, why not kill ourselves? After all, we are carbon based organisms?

Funnily enough, if you kill yourself all the carbon that is currently bound in your body will be released into the environment, just like when you burn a tree (or chop it off and let it rot). Ie, it will result in a (temporary) spike in carbon release

Actually, I wonder how much carbon is bound in the average human.

Anyway, a better way to go is not to produce any new little humans to begin with, haha.

subject to VAT though..

Excellent night lights and I've had no problems with them dying.

Worst feedback on HOTUKDEALS is a "sample of one", or an opinion with no basis of comparison.
It doesn't help anyone. So you're probably pushing poo uphill trying to convince someone with logic. You're right of course, LED has a much longer MTBF. My one of these has lasted 3 years, although I don't run it that often. (twice a week for 4 hours). I got an alternative brand in another room with an amber light and dusk to dawn sensor, saves remembering to turn the thing off and on.

LEDs can rapidly fail if from a bad batch, or are driven by badly designed circuits. So enough of that. These things are not LED anyway.

They are actually EL. Other brand product claims you can wash your clothes with magnets or some such nonsense so hardly surprising they get their facts wrong with this too. EL backlights tend to have worse life expectancy than LED as they just gradually get dimmer with use.

God knows why this deal is so hot, they are never worth £9.99 in the first place as that is double the regular price you can always get here rapidonline.com/pro…881
