I wonder how many shall self identify as female for the day lol
I went in the summer the one year and I am more entertained going in my own greenhouse.
I went in December and wasn't worth £55 for 2 tickets (shock) Only stayed 2 hrs, best to go in the summer when there's lots to do (y)
If you’re going by train get a rail card. Those travelling with children can get the Family and Friends one. From memory travelling from London cost around £115, you’ll get £80 with the railcard so it already pays for itself. If you don’t have time to receive a physical rail card some are available in digital and a couple can be purchased from rail station ticket offices on the day.
I went last summer and was quite disappointed. It's ok but certainly not worth the usual entrance fee. They had just opened a new area and most of the interactive things were broken already. I personally think Kew Gardens is much more impressive.
