This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Just received an email from edf offering a free amazon dot with a purchase of the echo from their store it is the same price as amazon currently so dot is free, a code is required and should have been emailed if you are with edf.

You forgot you’re!
Anyone got a spare code they're not going to use and is willing to give it to me? I'll really appreciate it.
Recently bought the Echo 3 days ago so might return it if I can get this deal to get the free dot

I think someone would rather gift the echo as a birthday present than share such a code
You could have mine if I had been sent an email.

The code is now gone.
Strange - not received on my account
I'd love a code (worth a shot haha)
Maybe edf only loves certain customers as I didn't get an email either

British gas lacking
They have to shift the old Dots because the new version is out in a couple of weeks.
Picture is not a Dot. I have pedandt's hat on this morning.
Here is the reply I got from EDF about the offer!

Thanks for getting in touch with our Smart Home Store team.

Currently we are offering the discount for a free Dot when a customer purchases an Amazon Echo for £89.99 to EDF Energy customers who either have, or are pre registered to have, a smart meter installed at their property.

EDF Energy are not installing smart meters for prepayment customers at the moment, however, you can still pre register to have a smart meter installed once they become available in your area which should be sometime next year.

If you would like to be pre registered, all you will need to do is to agree to this action and I can update your account for you. Once you’re pre registered we will be more than happy to send you a discount code so that you are able to benefit from this exciting offer!

Let me know if your happy with this and I will update your account and e-mail you your unique code.

Kind Regards

Chelsea
sure this is for customers on their Connect + Control Amazon Echo tarrif only.
I’m on their online tariffand have requested a smart meter so that must be it.

if anyone has a spare code can you pm me please?

i've given a few codes on this site before. thanks
They keep nagging me weekly to get a smart meter fitted, I think I'll pass, these 2nd gen dots, were £35 a couple of weeks ago,, so likely to fall sub £30 soon with the 3rd gen about to launch, and the Echo can be had for £60 from time to time, so no real saving here unless.you really want a smart meter.

My sister had a smart meter fitted. It caught fire and now they are saying she tampered with it and they want £500 from her !!
She never touched it . It was poorly fitted. I'm staying well away
Anyone want my code I was going to use it but changed my mind.
Has anyone bought these and returned the amazon Echo and kept the free Amazon echo dot thing and did you get it for free and a full £89.99 refund for your returned item?
