They say low prices, but you better check how much exactly per kWh and standing charge. I'm about to renew my tarrif with npower, but for some reason, when do a search on my account for new tarrifs, they seem to keep the prices hidden, when in the past they were honest. Went to price comparison site and found the cheapest npower is £150 than the best one on the market.
I was with EDF and they were quoting me £200 more than e-ON for renewal, so thanks, but no thanks
Just switched from EDF they are no way near the cheapest. Also their app for giving reading etc will drive you insane because it never works. Also give them a fake number because you will be hounded almost daily about smart meter installs.
Would be £244.00 more for me
I'm enjoying bulb energy at the moment.
Really pleased that they keep reviewing their prices and staying competitive. Has saved me shopping around.

Bulb are good but if you have problems like me they are useless switched in jan and they still haven’t sorted out my electric meter I have submitted numerous reads for both and for some reason the electric reading just keeps disappearing of there app I have used live chat loads and they are useless
Don’t be tempted, go on a comparison site and switch.

If they can give you 140 quid for renewing.... your paying at least 140 quid more than you should be!
Sign up to Martin Lewis’s Cheap Energy Club and bag yourself a good deal and possible cash-back (over 4M members).
I went over to Bulb on the 13/03/19.
Got £30.00 topcash back,Tracked and paid.
Waiting for £40.00 bill credit from bulb, Should be paid by 13/05/19.
Also £50.00 refer a friend by 05/05/19.
All that on top of the best price and no leaving fees.
EDF were dreadful when I switched last year.......7 months to sort out my account!!!!!!
Spent an hour on EDF online chat trying to get a cheaper tariff. The guy made out he was taking to a manager to get me an exclusive deal. Turns out in the end he was going to reduce my DD, not my tariff & they could then up my DD again at any time, so really no deal at all!
Ditched & joined Shell.
Didn’t think that energy suppliers were allowed to offer cash-back directly anymore.

I've found energy suppliers are getting particularly cheeky now.

Our fix with Scottish Power is about to finish so been checking tariffs. Previously have checked using comparison sites then checked Quidco/TCB before signing up.

But now they have specific tariffs only available via the comparison sites. If you go direct or via Quidco/TCB the tariffs are significantly more expensive. It's adding even more complexity to a already stupidly complex market.
