anyway of using this as a TV

is it hd for 360 gaming?

Saverstore used to be Savastore and Watford (aka Watfraud) Electronics. Run a google search on them before you decide to buy anything! Best not to expect any after sales support. :whistling:

Just found it even cheaper on the following link... this is a computer monitor and not for gaming. It has only DVI and VGA inputs. If you are looking for a gaming monitor you need an HDMI input if I am not mistaken. Also best off going for a high end brand like NEC, Samsung. This is a great entry level desktop monitor though using for my share dealing.

Good advice, I avoid them like the plague now.

I wouldn't spend that sort of money with play.com. In the event of serious problems, you are not covered by the Sale of Goods Act so, if they don't agree to replace defective goods, tough luck. If you're happy with that to save a few pounds OK if not, shop elsewhere. Their Ts&Cs make it clear that you deal with them under the laws of the Island of Jersey! Knowing the way things work there, I'd be surprised if these laws were particularly "consumer friendly". :whistling:

I've never bought anything from Lambatek but seem to recall seeing a few recommendations for them here.

That's not actually always true - use a credit card & the consumer credit act 1978 (or similar) means that your CC co is equally liable (as over £100) & the SOG act (which I believe is now replaced by a more recent & I believe better consumer protection act) applies.

Found this monitor here for £158.75 inc. VAT (£165.63 inc. delivery) +5% Quidco:-

For those of you who are interested I bought this unit yesterday from Lambatek and it has arrived at the office already this morning. Just set it up and the monitor is superb. Not a single missing pixel and the height adjust stand is superb. Recommended highly and great value I was worried when I bought it but would buy it over and over again!!
