Noooooooo! Don’t use a squeegee! You’re risking scratching the paint. Always use a microfibre to dry your car

Do any car detailers use these? Purchased a similar one many years ago and I’ve never used it on my car. Prefer a silicone squeegee followed by synthetic chamois

Your crazy using a squeegee! Instant scratches.
As above, a silicon squeegee is very much seen as a scratch magnet, and I’m not sure I’d use a synthetic chamois either

Hubby only uses microfibre

Well done. You would be better use your hand instead...
Gotcha. Luckily only used the water blade a few times. And shall switch to using a microfibre...

Squeegee is the worst thing for a cars paint work, you will scratch it.

Synthetic chamois is ok but you are more likely to scratch the paintwork with this then a microfibre drying towel.

The best thing is to blow dry with warm air but this is a very expensive option and mainly used by professional car detailers.
Ordered the pack of 4, thanks
Are they any good for drying wet dogs?
squeegee is good for the glass, or some glass cleaning processes
glass is much harder than paint, so thats why its more ok to use on glass
What do car detailers use for washing microfibre clothes used for cleaning cars?

Stumbled upon this earlier from a link posted above.

Has anyone used this, if so, is it any good?

Are there any cheaper or better options available?

Thanks.
I just use a cheap delicate laundry liquid from Asda.

Remember to only wash microfibres with other microfibres and never use fabric softener. Warm cycle (40deg) and extra rinse if your machine has it.

Line dry or tumble dry on low/synthetic setting
ive used a kent microfibre cloth for a few years, been great. easily available on ebay for around £5
