Saw this and thought it was a good deal. It's my first time posting and it seemed like a good deal, especially after looking about for the same offer. It's good that they include the 12months of Anti Virus and 2GB online backup as well which is like £30 worth in shops. Not bad.

Doesn't look like this is actually a wireless N radio. Its rather a wireless B/G radio that can work faster on a 802.11n network.

Good price but I'm not so sure it's such a hot product - it certainly didn't work for me. The reception with the thing plugged in was even worse than with my laptop's internal wifi... (in the end, moving the wireless router to a better spot helped.)

Which anti-virus package is it?

Can i plug this in my ps3 ? :?

You can certainly plug it in to your PS3. Won't do anything though. ;-)

Cheers

cant comment on this exact item but i bought something very similar made by Edimax from amazon recently and its been excellent, really small but does the job superbly and never loses the signal and runs at my router max speed.

Had a few of these round the house (media centre PC's) and ended up swapping them for 200Mbps homeplugs. These are "n-lite" so compatible with 802.11n but only at half the speed. They couldn't cope too well with streaming HD between PC's, but for web-browsing they were fine.

Do these work ok with Ubuntu or can anybody recommend one?

This is technically a wireless-N product, it has been certified recently and falls under the N standard. The £6.99 one doesnt have the 3dbi antenna on it either which helps a lot to be honest.
