Edinburgh Gin Rhubarb and Ginger Liqueur OR Elderflower Liqueur £15 @ Asda

I don't really drink stuff like this, but after buying some for my sister at Christmas, I have to say... it's pretty good. £15 is the best I can see this for just now too. So if you've not tried it, then it's worth giving it a bash for sure.

Tangy spring crop rhubarb, macerated with warming oriental ginger and a little fragrant lemon zest, which is infused to produce a delicate aromatic rose colored liqueur. A perfect base for sparkling summer cocktails or just as it comes, as a caressing winter warmer.

Their Elderflower Liqueuris also £15

A perfect summer liqueur with a fresh aromatic flavour. Wonderful with Champagne, soda and excellent in cocktails, or enjoy it simply over ice.

Its not gin.

You'll probably find it is a gin, just not a neat gin, more a messy one.

This Liqueur is made by Edinburgh Gin but its a Liqueur .

from EG website

The liqueur is great in a variety of cocktails, its complex notes perfectly complement many cocktails, enhancing punchier aromatics such as lemongrass, cardamom and candied ginger.
This stuff is great with tonic
Alcohol content is 20%.

Nope, its a liquer.
This is awesome with Spicy Ginger ale.

4.20 for a double of this with that in your local spoons.

Yeah, a Gin liqueur.

Think if you go to their website you'll find it's gin based, stop being a fanny..... I'll even be nice enough to give you the link:

Heat.....cos it sounds fit!
Must try
£16 with Amazon Prime.
Its awesome as a dash in Prosecco, cava, champagne.
It's very nice, but very sweet. If you're a classic dry gin person this may cause you issues.

Prepare to wake up the next morning with a taste in your mouth suggesting you've binged on rhubarb and custard sweeties in your sleep...
I looked at this in Asda last night but noticed it was only 20%. They have lots of other gins on offer though.

Technicality aside, I think it's a fair comment to point out it's not a proper Gin, and more of a Gin Liqueur - as it's only 20%.
Exactly what I was getting at with my first comment, it's not a neat gin, more a messy one where the flavours are infused with Gin but it's not full Gin. To be honest, I think this has gotten out of hand haha, it's tasty none the less!

Nice, thanks!
I love this! Thanks
To the people that drink this I would suggest the Whitley Neill Rhubarb and Ginger Gin and the J J Whitley Elderflower Gin.

Similar price to these but 700ml, full strength Gin and they taste superb.
