Decent price for this little gadget, am actually wanting something to monitor the room temp in the kitchen, mainly because I'm brewing beer in there at the moment and I need to keep it to a min of 19c in there. I do have a large old style thermometer, but this is cool for a quick glance over. Obviously would be handy in other ways, but that's what got me looking

I didn't really think about it much until I was reading through on site, but it's a cheap way of monitoring rooms for people with conditions like Arthritis, which can get aggravated by colder temps.

Measures humidity & Temp as well as a week calendar and alarm clock functions as well, so kind of covers a fair bit

I'll stop going on now Whack code from up top ^ in at checkout and voila

Jus' like that

1.Time (12/24hours); date(2000 to 2099years); week; temperature(Degree Fahrenheit/Degree Celsius)
2.Alarm&Snooze function(8 songs selection)
3.Can Setup universal time
4.Also can be used as a countdown timer
5.Voice operated backlight function
6.Temperature range:0~50 Degree Celsius(32~122 Degree Fahrenheit)
Temperature accuracy:+/-1°C; Humidity range:10~99%; Humidity accuracy:+/-5%

Really wouldn't recommend this one. The device is never as easy to read as the pictures show, mine chews batteries, it's meant to switch the backlight on (which even in daylight is the only way you can read it) when you touch/move it - sometimes works, sometimes doesn't (yes button 5 is set to ON lol), you end up using the button at the top which I find isn't the best sensor you really need to touch it right in the middle.

I ended up going with this one which I posted - arrived fine, works great.

Another option

ive got 2 of these... works great ,.. deff worth buying..

shows £5.45 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry see code

Any recommendations for one with an outdoor sensor?

I bought this one for my Dad much to the chagrin of my sister and mother as all they hear every half hour is what temperature is it outside So bear that in mind when buying, it's safe to say he likes that weather station Any excuse and he's checking it.

anyone recommend one of these which you could hook up with a Raspberry Pi?

Hi, can I see the number at night? Or do I need to click any button?
Thanks

How do these stand alone devices know the weather without a connected weather station?

The back-light function is a bit hit and miss, but if you hit the white 'snooze' button on the top, it lights up.
