Love going to the cinema but they can be soo expensive, so thought this offer was a great way to grab a cheap visit (or visits).

They are valid for over a month from now until 8th Oct & you can buy 1 additional as a gift, so why not treat your friends / family & have share a cheap night out.

Cinema lovers can nab three 2D tickets to see Hollywood’s latest releases. Valid for standard seating at screenings until 8th October, tickets can be used for 2D films at over 100 locations across the UK. Tickets can be used in one visit or spread across multiple trips to the big screen. To find the nearest ODEON cinema, click HERE

How it Works
Purchase a Groupon offer

You will be emailed a voucher which includes a unique code for each of the tickets. Each Groupon code/barcode can only be used once regardless of redemption method.

These codes can be redeemed at the box office or online HERE. Either print off your voucher and present the barcode at the ticket counter, or enter the voucher code on the Odeon website when booking your seats to enjoy your film

Yes, already in the OP

Personally, if Odeon is your local cinema of choice, and you are considering this? Then the limitless deal for £17.99 a month(outside of central london) is a better deal. No restriction as above, can be used for any 2D screening as many times as you want in a month. You just have to ask yourself if you think you will get £17.99 worth of viewings a month?
I have had limitless for over 18 months now, and sadly, being a bit of a movie geek know exactly how many times I have used limitless. I have more than got my £17.99 a months worth! Unless of course, you plan on taking 3 people to the same screening. But then Odeon do cheap mondays, all 2d screenings are greatly reduced(example - american made this coming monday is £3.50 in my local Odeon!)

Other cinemas, like Cineworld do their own version called unlimited.

Both offer discounts on food/drink etc as well as other perks. Every little helps!

You can give the tickets away, I'll never go to an Odeon to wade through he popcorn or get stuck to the chairs.

That's a lot of restricted movies. Sounds like pretty much all the big movies that would fall into the timeframe of this deal.

Crap deal with the movie restrictions, in my opinion.

Could you use these in conjunction with Meerkat Movies codes?

effectivley three films for me and a friend for £5 between us per film?

(sorry, I'm new to Meerkat Movies

Just be aware, the minimum term for limitless is 12 months. I've been tempted by this many times, but been put off by the minimum term. If it was 3 or maybe 6 months I'd sign up and try it out.

The thing is what is there to try out? It not like you can't try the Cinema beforehand.
All you need to decide is if you will go to the cinema on average twice a month or more. If so you're quids in.
Lesser terms would probably cost more as people would buy for Summer and Christmas releases then stop.

I've tried booking online with the Groupon code after purchase, and it's saying not valid for this film/seats. I tried booking the dark tower and then emoji movie. No luck Any ideas?

What else is there to see

Not Valid on Kingsman, American Made or Blade Runner. Well that's rubbish as those are the three films I wanted to see. Voted Cold.

How ridiculous, restricting certain movies! I was interested until saw that

Exactly the same for me - tried for War of the Planet of the Apes and whatever combination I try to add seats or tickets, it doesn't accept the code. Oh well, I'll try using the mobile app when I turn up for the film.

**EDIT** Actually, just got them to work. Instructions aren't very clear but when you receive the Groupon code which will be something like XXXXXXXXX1-XXXXXXXXX2-XXXXXXXXX3, I was trying to put the whole thing in as a voucher. It's not. Each dash separates each ticket code, so XXXXXXXXX1 is one code for one ticket, then enter XXXXXXXXX2 for the second ticket and so on.

I'll give this deal heat for the effort and that the tickets are cheap, but what is the point of this if the anticipated films are excluded?

Is there any good kids animation film coming out between now and 8th of October?

Just go on a Monday night when it is cheaper anyway. £5 or less for all 2D screenings, which makes it better than this deal if like American Made you get one at £3.50(as is the case this Monday in my local odeon)

That only works if your local Odeon does an offer where Monday night screenings are less than £5.

My local Odeon is at a minimum of £10.50 each time

Can these be usd for one off specials like the Dave Gilmore live in Pompeii which is on for one night only o the 13th September?

Not every cinema has cheap viewings or days. My odeon charge £10:95 a ticket for all 2D films any day of the week. Total rip off as my sister gets them at her local odeon for £4!!!!

£11.25 in Milton Keynes and add another £1 for 'Blockbuster' films. It's just a bloody joke how expensive it is to go to the cinema these days!

There was a TV show on a while ago that explained the pricing variations - basically, like so many things, they charge as much as they can get away with.
So don't go when it's too dear or you don't have a voucher, and always shop around locally if you have a choice of venue.

I have meerkat movies and my local odeon is only £4 per ticket and they do accept the meerkat codes so cost £4 for 2 to watch a movie. There's no restrictions at my odeon too, yours might be the same. Mine is abit run down so I do t know if that's why all tickets are £4 there. Upgrades are extra like imax 3D ect

For me, my daughter goes back to school on Wednesday, today was the only day I could take her and it would have cost me £18.25 in the south-east and we wanted to see a film that wasn't on any of the exclusion. So we got in for £15 and I still have one voucher left I might use Monday for Dunkirk seeing as no-one else in my family wants to see it, so works out as a bargain for me.

Then undoubtedly limitless is a better offer! Surely? You only have to go twice a month and no premium is charged for blockbuster films, the only premium paid is for 3D and premier seating

Their nachos still suck though. And what's a film without nachos
