Cheapest ever you saying ?
hotukdeals.com/dea…688

Yeah I thought it went down ad low as £329 yesterday on Amazon, was only for a few minutes though, think a couple of people off here managed to grab one.

Thanks OP, You're right of course.
Cheapest ever sold by Amazon price.

Voted deservedly-hot

Some dodgy merchant was touting them on Amazon's site yesterday for a while, but who would be dumb-enough to conflate a fly-by-night seller's price and after-sales service with Amazon's?

Are you still banging on about sending money to an Amazon Marketplace merchant?

This machine will produce better espresso but you are locked into the Illy capsule world. So then you're paying all that money for the milk part of the De'Longhi. If it could produce coffee shop microfoam then I'd splash out myself but it doesn't. It produces that tasteless foam with loads of air in it. Don't buy into the hype too much, you can get better espresso for much cheaper.

That is a capsule coffee machine, meaning the beans will have been pre ground months ago. Not exactly fresh coffee is it.

Wasn't really in the market for one but the wife's just said it looks good, so we have a machine arriving on Tuesday! Thanks OP! Also worth mentioning that you can apply for a gift pack from Delonghi thats got some cleaning products and (more importantly) free bags of coffee!

That’s what I said, it’s a capsule machine. However, you’re right but Illy coffee is vacuum packed, it does manage to keep it fresh. I’m not saying it’s perfect but it’ll be better than any bean to cup machine espresso because Illy have spent years and years getting it perfected.

I happen to be very impressed with the foam produced, lots of customisation and depends on milk type as well.

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion and at the end of the day, as long as you’re happy that’s all that matters. If a bean to cup machine could produce microfoam to the quality that a manual machine could, I would pay an enormous amount of money just for that. It’s not even close at the moment, probably decades away. For that reason, I don’t see any point in shedding out for one of these as that would be the only reason for getting it.

Ao will price match

I have no doubt there is accuracy to what you're saying, all proper coffee shops utilise manual frothers.

Just for myself, a regular average Joe coffee drinker, once a day from Costa/Starbucks, I found, especially after some fiddling, the quality of from this machine doesn't leave me missing it.
