No catch, you do not have to be an Excisting EE customer or take out any other contracts, simply is just £10 a month with free tablet. (Tablet usually £99.99)

EE 10gb data every month.
24 Month Contract.
Free EE Jay Tablet.
Excisting EE customers get 10% discount so £9.90

This was from the Lowestoft EE store, it's not online, manager said there are a few other EE shops doing the offer but it is not national.

Comes as a 3 size multi sim. I put mine in my iPad and gave the tablet to my daughter, to be fair tho the tablet is really good.

Forgot to mention you can tether data on this contract to.
Seems good. Is it not £9 a month if it's 10% off though?

For some reason it says £9.90 on contract, not sure why.
hi what tablet do you get?

It's the EE Jay Android tablet.
Agreed would be £9.00 must be fat fingers on the keyboard

Well that's very strange
If the tablet had 2GB ram I'd be all over it. Even 1.5GB would just about do. With 1GB, I think your going to see a lot of apps force closing in the background. You get what you pay for I guess.

It's well worth £10 a month just for 10gb data. The tablet is just a bonus for me.

Which is the grand sum of zero....the £10 is for the data so I think the added bonus of the tablets really can't be grumbled at.

I'm not disagreeing with you Mandz27. Its just that uninformed people will go out and think its a great deal. The same people will be the ones complaining about how slow the tablet is and how crap Android is. I'd like to see the likes of EE only release products that are up to the job.

It's not slow or crap. It's not as fast as my iPad Air 2 but it's not £580 either ...

They were selling loads of these just for the sim, you can't get 10gb data for £10 a month at many other places?

The receipt says £11 per month less 10% is £9.90, so basically a tenner after discount not before.

Yeah they have messed it up in store, massive sign in window saying £10 a month. they have put £11 minus £1 PCM discount, minus 10% = £9.90. Clearly should be £9 you are correct.
This is a good deal, that tablet can be used by my kid , I will get a thick case on it and my kid can beat the hell out of it while I use the data heat from me
Good deal wanted just a SIM card for my daughters iPad mini which is out of contract can only get 2 gb for that price so great find with 10gb for same price
What (if it was taken) is the roaming option?
Can you use this in a phone? May sound a bit dull but looking for data only SIM card for son and would you get a number so people could ring him
It's selected stores only so hopefully those who want one manage to locate it.
Just called a store and they said they can match this price although they said they currently weren't doing it. Also im an existing customer so dunno if that helped. Worth a call before you go to store I'd say.
Just rang to see if I can get this and they said I would need to take another 24mth mobile broadband line to get this. I'll try another store in my area as it is a good deal.

Just to clarify, my friends got this same deal and they are with 02. There's is £10 a month not £9.90 like mine. They didn't have to take out any other mobile contracts to get it
Nearly lost my sht when I saw this. Thought it was the ee summer sim deal

Good enough for pokemongo. bought.

Is it? I was thinking the same thing. Want a separate device to not ruin my phone battery
This will only be available in franchise stores. None of the city centre stores are franchise. To put in to context none of the birmingham city centre stores are but kings heath and Northfield stores are. This will be a deal that specific store group is offering but if you have a local franchise store they might match it

Comparable confusion with remarkably similar suggested deal a month ago here. Does seem to be selected stores only, but other stores may randomly match.
Would this be suitable to play Pokemon go on?

don't think it uses that much data so would be good for maybe 2 hours a day

It easily plays Pokemon go, the deal is advertised as a Pokemon go package plus my misses uses hers for it.
Can u use 10g roaming abroad???
Any London stores? checked my local, they aren't doing it
£19.80 with 16GB and free RAC cover if anyone is a current customer interested shop.ee.co.uk/my-…-go sure you can probably go via TCB or Quidco
Got one a month ago.

Seems a bit delicate as despite being treated the same as an ipad and ipad mini, and a Nexus 7 2013, the screen has cracked. Half the touchscreen is still working. Got to find out prices for repairing it now.

Luckily i really only got it for the 10gb per month sim to put in an iPad

How would you rate it for pogo?

I'm guessing battery isn't good as it's such a hog.

What (if it was taken) is the roaming option?

probably the standard calls and texts on EExtra plans and possibly the other the standard 100MB a month roaming data. ie not for data use abroad, 100MB might work in a old blackberry but a modern smartphone? Turn on data to sync email and apps background data will start swiping that 100MB down.

Its £3 a day for 500MB after the wifi/tablet 100MB is used shop.ee.co.uk/int…oad

might have to see if the scunthorpe store does this!

I'm intertested in this also, as it could be the case that the Tablet won't even run Pokemon Go, unless someone else can confirm. Pretty sure this EE tablet only has 1GB of RAM, and Pokemon Go claims to need 2GB - though this is debateable, as it runs fine on my old Galaxy S3 which only has 1GB RAM.

I know Pokemon Go won't run on my Galaxy Tab 3, annoyingly.

It runs it fine, no problems at all. The deal is advertised as a 'Pokemon Go' Pack.
