Argos have reduced their EE Data Sim by a tenner to 19.99. This is the 500Mb per month for 12 months option (there are many seemingly cheaper SIM, or with more data, but check the expiry dates on most of these). It's currently a few pence cheaper than if you buy it direct from Amazon on Amazon prime (£20.22) - although there is an Amazon Reseller who has it a bit cheaper if you are happy with that approach).

If your handset is unlocked however, Three do double the data, 12GB for £22 that lasts a whole year. Doesn't matter if you take your 12GB on day 1 or day 365.
500mb*12=6Gb
Can you show me a 12 month data deal for less than £20?
That's also a decent deal if you can spare the extra fiver and will make good use of the extra data. Deals like these are good for people who mostly use wi-fi for their tablets but who want occasional 4G use when no hotspots are available.
It's also good for those with a tablet locked to EE, or with an EE mifi device. Unfortunately too many people jump on any SIM deal in order to show how they know of a better deal, often not reading the original deal properly (even if you try to illustrate the specific benefits in the deal description). I wanted a 12 month SIM for my tablet at the lowest price, to be used as a backup when no wi-fi is available .
sorry its £16.75 a month for 64GB of data a month
Yes, it's a pity the OP didn't make the deal clearer, i.e. it's £19.99 for the WHOLE YEAR, not per month.
This could have had some serious heat.
He knew what he meant, the rest of us saw it as most other SIM deals. Lesson in clarity, folks!
Heat from me, for what it's worth...
Yes I agree. It's also a pity that things like EE branded tablets are so hard to get unlocked and the firmware never gets updated. EE are out of my life and its all the better for it.
Link to this please?
The MyMemory 3 12 GB data SIM deal has now gone up to £24.95
and the same thing direct from 3 themselves looks to cost a whopping £40!
Damn it, was going to point you to my memory. Sucks that the price has gone up.
Ah OK thanks, appreciate your getting back to me anyway.
There's also the Amazon 24 GB offer, valid 2 years, though currently at £41.28, and on 2-4 weeks estimated delivery.
I think quite a few of us are keeping an eye on that, hoping it'll be coming down to nearer its December price again.
Ditto all that. :-)
