This seems like a good deal if EE honour it. I spoke to an adviser via online chat and he confirmed it is a 1 day exclusive offer...

EE 12 Month SIM only £21.99
£21.99 / 10gb Data (Double speed 4G data allowance.), Unlimited Texts, Unlimited Minutes

The 23.99 20GB deal seems better. I think the cold votes are more to do with the company. But also 3 and even lyca have good deals at the moment.

Did not realise people had such a problem with EE... maybe I should rethink becoming a new customer?

Be wary of what is included and any additional charges. Upon signing up to a 12 month sim only deal in store they failed to inform me of additional costs of going over data allowance. (previous T-Mobile "EE" contract did not charge for additional data, just slowed down and got text when at 80%) Went into store to query larger than expected bill and there response was "we do not have to inform you of additional charges, and they do not need to be stated in contract or terms and conditions when signed. Our legal team say its ok to not inform you". Upon phoning customer services (worst ever experienced) every advisor told me a different story (3 hours on phone to be eventually told to goto store who advised the above). As mine was with T-Mobile (EE) unable to cap data. With actual EE contract the data can be capped. Strongly recommend capping or going elsewhere :-(

Three have 2000 minutes, 5000 texts and unlimited 4g data for £20 for 12 months sim only or £23 one a one month rolling contract, although there are contracts with unlimited 4g data with lower call and txt allowances as low as £12.90 on a 1 month rolling contract.

Currently with orange/ee and I am leaving as soon as my contract ends, been with orange for over 15 years but their service to customers is appalling.

thanks for the advise!

-96%... this could be my first and last post on hukd!

I also will be leaving when my contract ends in Sep. Poor company, 3 price rises in 2 years (couldn't be bothered trying to get early termination), poor customer services and horrendous 4g tariffs when first introduced (and not that great now).

I'm on tmobile full Monty 2000 mins unlimited txts & data £16pm and mines not capped or been slowed down. And only thing I've had to pay extra for was 0800 calls and photo messages.

do you have to pay £21.99 per month? or is it you only pay £21.99 once ?

the EE website confuse me...you see Monthly 21.99.

Will be £21.99 per month (12 month contract)

Yes, they confirmed via online chat service it was monthly, and capped also...

hot for me atleast. thanks for the share

The hate is for EE and the way they have treated people, especially their appalling we are better than anybody else on 4G attitude.

For me the reception on T-mobile has been brilliant, in fact no one else is as good for my needs. 3 don't compare on coverage, though they are fast, but when they at least don't kick their 3G customers to the kerb to keep the 4G speedy. Not finding others that fast at all.
Their prices saw me leave, continually high, and the constant rises, which saw me sign a new contract and get notified of a rise, before I even got a bill, and 3 in 2 years.

It's a good deal for what you get, on EE, but really somewhere about where it should be anyway.

I was with them for 15+ year's but left last year due to price increases and because they wanted 2 charge me for an upgrade. I'm now with O2, upgraded to Note 3 (free), I'm now paying less than before for an all inclusive contract!

But extortionate charges if you go even 1kb over..

648kb (just over half a mb) over on my current 3gb deal cost me 7£!!!!

Same thing happened to me.
Customer service and store just didnt care.
Offered to Cap data but would have to pay an extra £3 per month to move onto another EE plan

There is a way of getting out of contracts early with T-Mobile/Orange/EE specially if you got your contract before this year... Testing this tomorrow morning as it seems I may have found a flaw in their T&C's I will get back to you on this though!
