That's pretty hot. EE coverage is among the best isn't it?
Forgot to mention Argos charge £1 for the SIM but still a good deal compared to EE flex plans on their site.

EE has three MVNO's, virgin, asda and coop mobile. Might be worth taking a look at their packages, see if anything floats your boat.

I think bt mobile are also linked.

Also worth remembering that any mvno can swap the signal network at any time. As Asda mobile proved when they moved from Voda to EE. Virgin are due to do the opposite (move from EE to Voda), latest I read was by end 2021.

Vectone mobile?
Recently got 60gb, unlimited calls and text on a rolling EE contract for £20 a month. This seems a terrible deal.
They are a vastly different proposition - this is like TPO (The People's Operator) is/was or Smarty - it is a hybrid between contract & pay&go - you pre-pay at the start of the month, thus no credit (and therefore no credit check). You are under no obligation to stay, so prices will reflect this. It has a market, namely users who need to escape pay & go prices, but can't get/won't go contract.

Yeah, didn't know about those guys. Running an offer, £10 for 30gb, plus unlimited calls and texts. Decent hey?

Where/when did you get that deal? I tried to find something similar a few weeks back and could only find it direct from EE on an 18 month deal.

I’ve just looked at the Vectone reviews, struggling to find anyone saying anything good about them
I was with Smarty 45GB for £15 30 Day SIM only.
Seemed perfect but it if you get a poor signal it don't matter how much data calls text you get if you can't use it.
Now if it was all about the money then the Three deal for unlimited everything for £11on here the other day was a cracking deal,
But for me a poor signal still makes it unusable hence why I picked EE.
It may not be the best deal but at least I can use what I am paying for and change my mind when I want.

Turns out they only use 3g... Supposedly great for voice calls, data might be a bit slow though.

EE store Bluewater. It was over a month ago as I had the first month bill.

Thanks, might try my luck in my local store
In my experience, MVNOs don't offer the same level of service as the network they are piggybacking on. We're on Voxi at the moment and it's utter garbage. BT (which at the time was MVNO on EE) was a bit poor too.

Better info than the site I looked at. Cheers!
Silly question- but if I have a phone locked to EE, does that mean I can put in any of those SIM cards?
Does anyone know if there is a way to contact EE without paying 25p a minute
And now I’ve topped up I can’t even use inclusive minutes ?? They really don’t want you to contact them ! Off to Tesco mobile me thinks

Call 150 on Flex plans it's free.

No idea what a flex plan is it’s a data pack with 100 minutes which sadly have no use when calling 150
No email address
No online chat
No freephone number
Clearly no staff ! Still the worst phone network out there

Thanks Tricky- I didn’t know that- I’m on a pay as you go ee SIM card and it’s 25p a min to talk to anyone- but I might pop to Argos and get a flex SIM instead or order one through the app- as it seems better value than SIM card alone-
What flex plan are you on?

That's why I posted this deal cos it's better than EE offer if you go direct with them.
Sounds daft but it's true, must be a special tariff for Argos.
Good flexibility change when you want just thought it would help someone save a few penny's if looking at a flex type plan.
