HI, Guys me second deal,

i recently can to the end of my contract with vodafone which i canceled and i was wanting to take a breather before i got another one to see what deals we about.

So i ordered a free PAYG sim from EE, with the intention of topping up £15.00 to get 10GB free, once i had the sim, i called up EE to confirm how this deal worked, and the person on the phone said that as i was a new customer he said he would waive the £15.00 top-up so i was not required and i will be automatically be given 10GB of data free with out topping up.

I think this should be in Freebies if it doesn't cost you a penny Could MODS put it in Freebies please if eligible
Slightly confused with all of this. Right at this page which do I order? Do I just order the free one or the £15? Do you have to top-up in order to get the 10GB?

No, order the free sim the last one in the list, once you receive it call 150 from this sim, and explain that you want to find out about the 10GB free deal.

no OP was quick to answer my first query which I edited and deleted the same question I also asked. but this is answered in OP you order the free SIM and phone the EE CS and they should in theory honour the free 10GB as they did with OP Paulhessy1. That is why I said this should be in freebies
    Cheers
you know i called into an ee store and asked how long the data was valid for
    1 month, i was told.
    i
walked out with no new phone.
they must have reached their monthly bonus target
ordered and heat given. even if it doesn't work it may for somebody else. im guessing it was at the advisors discretion. see how this pans out i was about to buy a three one from ebay for around 20:

Just realised and saw to confirm £5 CB from Quidco whether you get it or not won;t hurt to go through the quidco website. If you want to go through Quidco please do not open the OP link, but from the link here. If you have already launched from OP, then clear your cookies and reboot to ensure it is clean. If you know which individual ones to delete then do so or delete all of them.

50p difference and there might even be quidco or tcb however i am gunning for this ee one which is hot if it works and if not then a free sim to check for 4g coverage . On a note does anyone know if these would work in a mifi device or are they purely designed For phones as some networks are picky like that ?

I ordered one of these for £15 on Tuesday, still waiting for it apparently they are out of stock, not sure how you can be out of stock of sim cards but still!

    1) If you are not going to use more that 1GB/mth and only want to try it for two months then get the monthly contract and cancel it at the end of the first month for 30day notice.
    2) If you want to go for the 90days PAYG from Three. Three one's 50p cheaper and is also a 90day PAYG mobile SIM not on a monthly contract just like the one from e-bay.

I think they both have same T&C's for topping up, none of them mention if you need to cancel with 30day notice, even if you did all you do is at the end of 2nd month call them and cancel the contract...(GOOD LUCK they are instance on giving you deals to keep you... can't blame them it's just enough to feed the family and pay for the Dowry of the Sisters (Illegal, Shame but true) while Three COE roams in his(Has to be a male) Limo.

I am three customer, been for more than 8yrs but i like the deal I got out of them and stuck with it.

Both have free standard delivery. So now you have a choice.

Regardless, my comment was somewhat tongue in cheek
'scuse... I know nothing 'bout mobiles as I've never owned nor used one. I do, however, have a TP-Link M5250 High Speed 3G Wi-Fi Unlocked Powered Modem and a Mobidata SIM I use with my iPad. So, I was wondering if this free 4G thingy would work with my 3G thingy...Best guess?

    cashback £5 has been tracked
Is the free 10gb only for 4G phones?

Also, I ordered a few of these SIMs a few months back (not knowing anything about this deal), and the cashback tracked at £5, but confirmed at the usual rate of 50p. So don't get too excited about cashback tracking
Can anyone confirm if it has worked for them. Thanks

So just need to order the free SIM and call to CS to ask about free 10gb?.hope they will give this for free without need to top up..heat fromme
Deal is pretty hot Anyone apart from the OP had success or is this another goose?

What happens if there is an issue with the 4G network or you are out of range? Does it default to 3G or 2G; or just doesn't work until the fault is fixed/get back in range? Just wondered as I don't have a 4G phone.

Yes that's correct - you get 4G as much as possible but if it's not there then you get 3G. Just like if you have a 3G service but in some areas you only get a 2G signal

Sounds ok in theory may just depend who you get in the other end of the phone if they will waive the money although if they are trying to get new customers they may do it to try to sweeten the deal.

Have been with EE (actually I'm with TMobile) since they were One2One always kept the same number, sometimes got my phones elsewhere but kept contract with them, needed micro sim as just got an Iphone, popped in store to sort they had already told us would cost about £10 to do this (just wanted to keep number so wasn't fussed about paying) the nice man that was looking after us went to get the sim, checked my hubby's details as it's him that pays the bill ( ) put it in then said "should be up and running shortly, and don't worry about the £10 - it's only money!" Now I know they are supposed to charge but I do think it depends who you see/speak to - another day another person and I'm sure we would have paid
