When you register for EE's Cash On Tap service (contactless payment service) , they give you £5 free , and then another £5 free when you first add money to your account.

You need a 4g EE phone and 4g EE NFC sim.

So £10 free and you still have your £20 to spend.

Contactless payment accepted in around 230,000 outlets worldwide including McDonalds , Boots and Wetherspoon in the UK.

Free money!

Compatible Phones......

Samsung Galaxy Note 3
Samsung Galaxy Note II
Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini
Sony Xperia SP
Sony Xperia Z1
Samsung Galaxy S4
Samsung Galaxy S III LTE
Thanks for the pic being added - didn't have one on my phone when posting
I wonder why the HTC one isnt included
Be wary as even if your phone is compatible and the sim is the correct one (has N on it) people report that it doesn't work. EE are then next to useless resolving it. I now have 20 on my phone I can't use
What phone Tomo? You can use it online via the shop online option - gives you your virtual card number, expiry date and cvc code.

You can get a virtual credit card number from the app that allows you to use the credit to shop online etc

You get £5 for registering and then when you add £20 to your account they give you another £5.

So technically you can get £5 for nothing or turn £20 into £30.
Why the 4G requirement, is this just to push people onto 4G?
You need to phone up and order a NFC sim as well, which is stupid since all the phones listed are NFC capable anyway
The carriers want NFC on chip to control it better.
I did this in dec. Registered to get £5 credit, used part of it to return an ebay parcel in post office then went into greggs to buy a box of yumyum!

Will look into topping up £20 to get £5 credit.
I was just on hold for 30 mins before I gave up (T-Mobile) trying to order a SIM.
I've got the 4GEE NFC sim but it only works on a tiny proportion of phones. Disappointed it's not compatible with my Nexus 5
handy little app. never had a problem with EE. the orange/tmobile cs suck but the EE4G cs are good at what they do.
So I renewed my contract with T-mobile and got a note 2 n7105 with nfc. I don't have the EE 4g contract though, Am I eligible for this? I understand I just have to order a new sim card with n on it? Thanks.

I have the HTC One and have loaded this app which works just fine.
Just had an email from EE today confirming this is now available on HTC One.
So far I've used my phone in Wetherspoon, Greggs and Cafe Nero. Really easy and only issue is the strange look I get holding my phone against the card machine lol.
