Connect up to 10 devices at the same time

You can get online quickly and easily using the 4GEE Mini. It creates your own personal mobile WiFi hotspot by connecting to the internet using the EE network. You can connect up to 10 devices simultaneously, whether they be tablets, mobiles or other WiFi enabled devices.

Enjoy high speed 4G internet, enabling you to download on the move. Wherever you are, it will keep you online with super-fast 4G EE internet.

All pay monthly mobile broadband devices must be taken with a 30 day rolling contract.

Choose from four different pay monthly data plans

With a rolling contract, the 4GEE Mini offers a great alternative to being tied into a home broadband contract, ideal for casual internet users. Plus with its portable nature, you can easily use it in remote locations which are unable to get a broadband connection.

To make sure you can access as much as you need on the internet, you can choose one of four tariffs from £17 a month to suit your needs.

Compact and lightweight

The 4GEE Mini is small and lightweight, making it easy to take with you wherever you go for quick access to the internet. Its six hour battery life ensures that you will be able to stay online for extended periods of time, while a neoprene pouch makes it easy to store the device when not in use.

Roam free in 48 destinations across the EU at no extra cost, or if you're traveling further afield data can be used in an additional five countries on 4GEE Max plan.

They're EE locked, but can be unlocked cheaply via eBay.
Other than that, of course, it's no different from a mobile.

Don't want to be a post pooper but this isn't really a deal, just some marketing. You still need to take out a subscription for this. You'd much be much better off going for the £15 1 month rolling 30gb SIM only on here atm and picking up a cheap 2nd hand mifi.
Is this on a 30 day rolling contract?

I can't find any 4G mifi's going for less than a tenner on ebay; 2nd hand or otherwise!?
£15 delivered seems about the going rate.
You've got to sign up to a contract for this deal... But, as I found out, different stores treat the offer differently.
I reserved with Wrexham, plas Coch. They were jobs worth buffoons.. Within 10 miles, went, paid my money, sorted.

Store dependant.
Beware that this unit doesn't labeled the battery capacity, which could be a issue at the airport security.

Mine was taken by the security as they can't identify the capacity which could be a potential hazzard to the flight, LOL.

I must check the throughput of my mobile - I wonder how one of those £5 Alcatel handsets would cope...

Useful to know, I own one of these but never considered that as a potential issue.

Searchy searchy!

I have given up trying to fob this one off on the kids- it's too slow to navigate anything, I get it charged and see how far I can run as an AP

hotukdeals.com/dea…275

I'm a gluten for punishment - I bought this one as well

hotukdeals.com/dea…352

Erm, the curse of HotUKdeals struck again and I bought 3 of these handsets as well:

Although I never mentioned the speed - I don't any of these support 4G...

A couple of weeks ago it looked like cashgenerator.co.uk/ got a massive batch of EE MiFis I got a Alcatel Y800 for £10, old but functional and with a removable battery so sold lol there was a big EE sign in the window or I’d never have noticed as I never go in there but for a tenner SOLD
Never ever would I go back to EE for anything
Sorry cold from me. This isn't a deal if you might get stung for a contract. In any case only the 1 wasn't borked. This goes off after half an hour of non connectivity unlike the original device with the led display that will give continuous wifi if you leave it plugged into a power source. Mine has 2 elastic bands to keep it falling apart. The 1 devices are over 4 years old now on eBay so be careful getting one.

Can you recommend a reputable ebay unlocking company?
You can easily get these for free if you haggle with them instore, just take out the cheapest one month contract and then cancel it. (Employees get £5 for every mobile broadband they sell so it's easy to make them mark down the price of the actually mifi)

Unfortunately... they are all as bad as each other!

Fools. The size of the device should be a giveaway.
I tried to pick up one last night, but they couldn't set up a new EE account so I went home empty handed. They insisted I start a new contract, minimum £17 a month. My question is how much better is one of these devices over using my spare moto g to tether to?
Is this the same as a Mi-Fi?

I've been looking for one of these for my forthcoming holiday to SE Asia but I wouldn't really need the EE subscription just the device.

just a couple of points, none of those phones are 4g and it is "glutton for punishment" not being a spelling nazi, it's just gluten means something entirely different
these are actually pretty good, my neighbour picked one up second hand on ebay, not that cheap tbh but performance wise it beat a much more expensive tplink archer router by about 15%. it even plugged into an old windows xp64 desktop and installed drivers automatically and worked like a dream.
So you can order this with the lowest Contract possible. And cancel it as soon as you leave the shop?

What if they suffer from celiac disease? No laughing matter, but a gluten for punishment would be perfectly in context.

yeah but we're talking security staff not necessarily that tech savvy and rather than risk common sense they'll just say no.

Yeah I never stated the speed - I even mentioned they don't do 4G (why did you not pick up on that or the searchy searchy! bit - and you call yourself a spelling nazi!). Also I meant gluten as it's a self deprecating pun...
Ah everyone is a critic...

Those are 200mb not 200gb

I'm sure that's what you meant
But in case you didn't
EE do a 200gb home 4g broadband
With super 4g router for 60 GBP
Not good value compared to a landline
Even if you lived in hull :-)

That’s 200mb sim, search function is fine it’s your information that is incorrect so no 200 Gb .

Please note there is a lot of difference between 200 mb and 200 gb
Had one of these for a few years, £9.99 in store, take the cheapest sim 30 day contract they had (They had a £1 100mb sim at the time but that's long gone) , Soon as you walk out of the store cancel the SIM on the phone with EE, Cancel the direct debit as soon as the first and only payment goes out.Unlocked the dongle on ebay using this guy. Instructions on his page further down.

ebay.co.uk/itm…d4d

Plonked this SIM in it

amazon.co.uk/Thr…sim

Or

mymemory.co.uk/3-p…tml

Prices are silly now, the 12gb sim was £17.99 on Mymemory, 12 month expiry from when you activated it.

This will do the same job though, its just got texts and calls as part of sim as well but its only got a 30 day expiry compared to the 12 month one from mymemory

amazon.co.uk/Lov…sim

Really useful abroad, Battery life can drain quick if heavy user. The interface is pretty easy to use once it’s connected. If you only have 1 battery bar lit up the connection seems to drop more, Fully charged its fine.

Turn the dongle on, connect to the device using wifi and browse to this to set it up and check what you have left. Just be aware soon as you turn it on with the sim in, your 12 months/30 days starts.

ee.mobilebroadband

Now you can use your mobile data package abroad I don’t use it as much but for anyone who doesn’t have lots of data on their mobile deal, it’s a great bit of kit for £9.99 and 4G if you can get a very cheap SIM, The cheapest i can see in Currys is £17 which is rubbish.
