Prices may rise annually - full details here

Mobile contract providers tend to increase your monthly tariff by inflation - and exactly which measure depends on the network:

Three: a Fixed Annual Price Change, 4.5% this year.
O2: RPI plus 3.9%.
EE, Vodafone: Consumer Price Index plus 3.9%.

The date of the adjustment also varies by provider:

Three: April
O2: Announced in Feb, effective from April
EE: Announced in Jan, effective from March
Vodafone: Announced in Jan, effective from April

What is Sim only?

SIM only is just that, where you only pay for the minutes, texts, and data you use on your sim-card.

You will have to supply your own device i.e phone/tablet to insert the sim-card into, hence why it's called 'sim only'

Just remember that if you are an existing EE customer and you change to a new contract you will lose the right to free EU roaming and will pay at least £2 per day

Using perks at work also drops this to £16 if you haven't got student beans.

Point me to specsavers if needed, but where does the title mention or imply that a direct link is available? Indeed quote the rule that says one must be available, if that is where you found it - it will be right beside no in store only deals.

@MrSwitch to avoid confusing folk, could you add 'no direct link available', either to the title (if room) or the description? (edited)

Mate, honestly, stop. If you can't be bothered to read things properly and use a little bit of sense, that isn't someone else's problem. Now by continuing this playground rant all you're doing is embarrassing yourself.

Choice of 6 month benefit shouldn't be mentioned or explicitly explained to people don't forget and end up paying through the nose for it.

Always nice to have a little reminder every now and then, the last time I posted this was like 9 months ago, and I don't belive the 6 month perks were available at the time

You can't get a direct link to the £20 deal, however the link directs you to all of ee's Sim deals, then you have to scroll down slightly, if that's too much for you, then I'd suggest not going with this deal

Just got clarification from EE via twitter that no price increase until March 2023. Will be taking this deal out now. Thanks @MrSwitch 47028559-km71j.jpg

Great deal! Does EE have any cheaper second and third sim options to add …Great deal! Does EE have any cheaper second and third sim options to add to the same account with this deal to share the data?

I would go on chat logged into your main account and tell them that you would like to add an additional line but you're having a problem adding the 20% student discount for the 10GB/£10 sim deal. (On Uswitch its currently £10 for 10GB with EE. When I logged in and tried to pay for it with the 20% student beans code it wouldnt apply. )

The advisor will hopefully do it for you and with the 10% additional line discount and further 20% student discount, you should be able to get it for £7.20 for 10GB. (I wrote a lot of messages quickly explaining my distress lol and was desperate for some help..!)

I would then ask them nicely if it's at all possible for them to please match the o2 deal of 20GB (also on Uswithch) and hopefully they will say yes so you should end up with £7.20 for 20GB.

If you want a 5G sim they might not offer this deal but worth asking- I had ordered this on a 4G sim offer (ended up changing it later after a lot of hassle but worth it in the end as it made my sim deal even cheaper!)

I ordered another sim with the same deal just 10GB this time) but also asked if they could apply loyalty discount on top (as it was my 3rd sim now) and the person I chatted to said they'll do it just for me! I'm sure if you ask they might be able to do something similar.

I didnt order the additional sims together.

Sorry for the long essay! It depends on who you chat with - hope you get what you need. If they don't humor you I would try again (my family think I have too much time on my hands - the amount of time I spent on chat with them- but it was worth it in the end!) Good luck! (edited)

Basically means only one inflation increase next year, as EE charge a month in advance so anyone taking out a contract can PAC out in February 2024 (before March 1st 2024)

    Shows £25 for me

I think your looking at the one which says "1 Smart Benefit included", you need to select the one without the smart benefit and it'll show free for 6 months.

Hey was that for the 100GB deal bringing it down to £14.40?

No that was for this 160GB deal, although you can also get the 100GB deal for £12.96 using this discount stack

There is an extra step I should have mentioned to get it to apply to this 160GB deal - first click 'View on EE' on one of the EE sims listed on the BT SIM only page (like the 100GB one for example), which will apply the BT discount and take you to the EE page. Then follow the link in this deal to get to the basket for the 160GB deal, and remove the 100GB deal you added from the basket. It will keep the 160GB deal and also keep the BT discount

Then apply student discount code on top (edited)

As an update: I got an email after a few minutes asking me to call them about the order (it just went to my junk so I missed it at first)

They applied the deal no problem over the phone, though call took about 15 mins as their systems seem very slow

Anyway, £14.40 for 160GB data on EE - definitely a good deal!

Ok I did this via BT and with perksatwork 20% discount code, I got the same "We need to confirm some details We’ll call you within the next 48hours to discuss your order." - hopefully all good for £14.40!Update 1: Actually the email I just received says `Success EE order ref"`, no separate email for me to call them hmm. I'll wait to see if I get a separate one

Update: They called me this morning to confirm some details in regards to credit check, no BT account check (I don't have BT) or having to re-add the discount code. Order is on its way, got email confirmation. So looks like anyone can try the BT 10% extra discount workaround in addition to the 20% one. Boom!

    Thanks @TheGalaxy for the info
