First off, I dont post many deals so apologies if any of this is posted wrong. Mods feel free to edit/move etc. I *think* i've posted it correctly :-/

Saw this offer on Quidco.

Voucher Code EESIM10

Looking at the SIMO megathread has to be the cheapest on the market by far for tablet/ipad.

EE 4GEE Broadband 30 day Sim Only for Tablet / iPad

Usually £21 for 5GB per month

Now £10 off, so £11 for 5GB per month plus £9 quidco + first month free

30 day contract so no commitment

Beware:::::

Just had an online chat with Quidco to check how long the £10 discount applies, and they have confirmed it's only for the 1 month. So what you get is

Month 1 = free.
Month 2 = £10.99 (standard of £20.99, less a £10 discount for the 1 month).
Month 3 and subsequent months, £20.99.

Has anyone who's taken up the offer received their SIM card in the post, and registered online with EE, so they can confirm this is the case ??
I think once you register online, you can see the contact terms?

Anyone know if tethering is a) allowed officially or b) not allowed but not blocked?

I assume its b) as I have a sim only unlimited everything( I know it differs from the 4g) but it similarily has the no tethering clause and ive connected several devices off of my phone (xbox. laptop and tablet)

Excellent deal - title needs changed to (IMHO) "EE 5Gb/mth 4G data sim only tablet/dongle/mifi 30day contract - £11pm 1st month free & possible £9 quidco"

Nope, listed on TCB as mobile broadband & also on EE site - golden offer if you have a 4g mifi (which I do )

Original Poster

yup - tethering is allowed.

I've changed the title as per the suggestion to make it clearer.

yes tethering allowed on all 4gee plans

Great deal, i have been on a SIM only deal with T-Mobile for £5/mth for 1gb mobile broadband based on a 30 day contract.

Rung them up earlier to give my 30 days notice earlier, asked if they could do anything to match (as T-Mobile are part of EE) but couldn't and say there was no point even trying. The operator says i was better cancelling and just ordering this as a new contract online, which i have done earlier.

Quidco has just tracked there for £9, and considering it's the first month free, followed by £10.99 per month thereafter for 5Gb of 4g broadband, it's a stonking deal.

All i need now is a 4g device or mifi.
I've seen the PC world one where some people try and get it for £19.99. but i mught just have to wait and continusing this 4g card in my Huawei 3g mifi dongle.
Anyone know where you can pick up a cheap 4g mifi dongle>

Also, does anyone know how long the £10 discount is applied for, is it 12 months?

Cheers Op.

I logged onto Quido for the offer and copied the discount code. I then made an online application with a credit check, but I did not see a discount box during the online credit check application:-(

The order was taken and I got an email stating the data sim would arrive in two days time at a cost of £21 a month. Am I missing something? Tried to call EE, but as we know, its a pain hanging on the phone......

I am trying the same to find where to put the code. Chatted to someone on live chat who was useless - just said you cant and to phone 150

I entered my code without any issue.
It was when I was in the basket, half way down the page, there was a '+' you had to expand on, and to the right of it the words promotion code.
That's it.

How bizarre - I am in there now in the basket but no sign of + to expand on.

Sorry, it's a "+", and then to the right there is "Got a Voucher".

Can I just stick this in my 3G ipad?

Have found it in Firefox browser now

Just to confirm in Internet Explorer I had no option for a code but I did in firefox - that may be a problem for someone else. Have ordered now.

I'm confused . what is the monthly cost ?

£10.99 for 5Gb of 4g Data

can i use this sim on my iphone 5?

I was too, and, rightly or wrongly (correction invited) I parsed it like this. The £21 headline figure: cost of the SIM. Free: the first month's access. £11: the ongoing monthly access charge. £9: the cashback that may be received by ordering through Quidco.

Simplifying: £21 for SIM and first month's rental, £11 a month therafter.

Bargain. Thinking of buying one for the Nexus 7 that I don't actually have yet (and may not even buy) just in case I miss out on the deal!

its only 5gb data -no mins -no texts -_- {cold}

£11 for 5gb = cracking deal....just recently signed up to £15.99 (+£50 for Alcatel MIFI dongle) for 3gb on a 30 day....that will be cancelled as this has been ordered...voucher worked and quidco tracked....great find.

As far as i understand;

sim = free
1st month = free
ongoing monthly = £11
quidco = £9
allowance = 5gb

can someone confirm that this will work in a 3G dongle until I can get one of the 4G dongle deals

really thinking of going for this for my Dad - he's still on the Vodafone 1GB for £15 no expiring deal, but need to get a deal on the 4G mifi's and he has a 3G dongle and separate router right now but is in a EE $g area - would be ideal

thanks

EliTom

just a quick thought, I didn't specify tablet type. will it come as an iPad compatible nano-sim?

Does the contract start as soon as it arrives, or do you have to activate it? I don't need to use it for another 3 weeks really.

Getting a 4G EE sim from work next week but I feel this is going to be one of those ridiculous deals people refer to for months.

I would really want someone at EE to confirm the £10 off is ongoing and not just on the first month. With EE 4G being new I would be very surprised if this was £11 ongoing but happy to be proven wrong!

It's showing at £20.99 p/month for me, doesn't show any code in the URL or applied in the basket?

just for the info for anyone who needs a nano SIM, I've just had my confirmation and it's a combi SIM/Micro SIM so you will need to contact EE to order a nano on 150 with EE or 07953966250 from another network

EE is the worst network in existence. Just check google, and we see that they do not care about customers. You have been warned.

Great deal.

Code works fine, just put it in the voucher section after following the quidco link.
