You cannot order this online.

24gb internal? That's a lot of text message storage space.

Incredible even £5 as an FM radio and MP3 player but I have a few old phones that can do this.

In Perth store screens it's under sim free as is most Payg phones, only 3 under Payg tab.

Screen says nothing in store screen about £10 top up, asked and was told £4.99 no top up needed.

Apparently certain stores stock now can't be reserved in anyway than arrive and check instore ? And this is one of them items. Which is strange as I got the option to reserve logged into Argos site ?

Unavailable

Original Poster

Furthermore, I logged out and not avail to reserve nor check stock online or text and reserve ? logged back in and same, cookies prob allowed me to reserve online ??

Anyway, as said instore screen shows as £4.99 with no top up and confirmed with staff, hopefully even one person can benefit from the post

perfect for trappin

LOL if you go from a iphone browser safari/opera mini it says currently unavailable ???

Opera desktop/IE/IE Metro are fine though ? Bloody Argos!

Delight (EE reseller) sim should work for back up, 3p calls 2p texts

Just a pain you can't order into store, you have to go into store to order.

Have you tried their sim's? I've never heard of them but I need something for a cheap payg option for my retired Father - it's pretty much just for incoming calls but I'd like to have it so a couple of calls dont eat through all of his credit! I tried the 3 payg sim in his Alcatel 2012g and it wouldn't work - then I found that it's a network issue with these "non smart" phones.

Their prices seem the same as the 321 payg sim from 3, but there's also a refer a friend option, so if anyone out there uses their network, feel free to pm me and you can get the referral credit!

EDIT - ignore that - I was just on the phone to their "customer service" department (which just sounds like a rather uninterested bloke on his mobile, and it's actually a mobile number!) and those prices are only for existing customers from 2014!

This is because you need to top-up with £10 before you can buy this phone at £4.99

Appears to be unlockable on eBay for a pound.

Is this running latest iOS ?

Will this get android N update

Nope, only for old, existing customers! Sneaky ****.

Are you an existing customer who joined before 1st October 2014? You can now enjoy our exclusive rates by sending ‘D123’ to 345. For standard call charges if you joined on or before 1st October 2014, Click Here.

That would be handy but voda's coverage is hopeless near me

Got the old man on it as a dog walking/spare phone he joined 2015 on 321 rates. I thought they had changed current plans when you mentioned it but it's only a opt out of the higher rates for those who ask for the 321 plan, sneaky as hell I say!

When you click on rates in their website it says 321

UK 3G flips NEW seem to be doro.co.uk

Doro 615 springs to mind but the latest at Argos is Doro 6520 £79.95, it's not locked to any network.

Edited by: "seaniboy" 22nd Aug 2016

LG U880 might be available secondhand. Apart from the Doro range only other flip with 3g is LG wine smart butis over £100.
