A similar deal to this was posted a few months ago but I thought it was still worth a mention. You do need to pay the line rental up front to get it at this price but you'll get almost as much back in cashback from Quidco.

The details are as follows:

EE UNLIMITED BROADBAND & CALLS
JUST £2.50 PER MONTH FOR 12 MONTHS*
Plus line rental from £11**

* Introductory offer: £2.50 a month for 12 months then £9.95 a month (12 month contract). ** Line rental £11.00 a month if you pay 12 months upfront (£132), Also includes weekend calls.

In summary:

Broadband (12 x £2.50) £30
Line rental (12 x £11) £132
Router P&P £6
Total cost £168

Quidco cashback £100

TOTAL COST £68 for the year.

It's not quite as advantageous as the previous deal as the cashback is slightly less but it's still a great deal and bound to be good for anyone who was still tied into their contract at that point.

Quidco cashback offer expires 23rd November so be quick.

Hope it helps someone.

Do I need a BT phone line to be able to get this offer?

Probably could add EE TV for free to that.

Topcashback was giving £130 when I took this offer a few months back. So far so good service wise!

No you don't, mine Inc a brand new line installation.

bargain.I got a slightly different one. hopefully I'm getting £100 Amazon vouchers.

Looks ok, looking to change from talk talk ( price increase )
This or plus net ? or cheap fibre.

I've had it for 3 months now. There is a reason it's cheap. The broadband is almost half the speed it used to be on sky. Will be going back after the 12 months

Yeah to be fair I should have complained I was mis sold it as I am not getting the minimum speed they told me I would receive and then said my line was to blame. When I said sky was getting double the speed they basically said I was lying

don't bother, EE is rubbish for home BB.

really rubbish service. been with this for 4 months. will be switching as soon as i can.
they block ip's even though they say its unlimited download.
set of con merchants

I took up an EE offer recently but too soon to say the Amazon vouchers have been received. Had to have a new phone line installed as previously with Virgin. I live about half a mile from the exchange and have been receiving speeds of 17mb/s on standard ADSL which is fine for me. Virgin so called fibre optic 30mb was only giving my 22mb/s so not much difference although be aware EE throttles ruthlessly at peak times which are quite a fair part of the day. EE also messed up the billing so not a good start but no complaints on the broadband speed when it is available.

Hopeless, got the bill wrong every month, got the cancellation wrong, wrote me a letter saying I didn't need to do anything else but apparently I didn't. Hopeless. This is one company I will not be touching again after having a mobile and broadband with them.

Just finished my 12 months with them & been told there's a £30 deactivation fee.. It is run off a BT line.

So beware. It is good for value but the dealt fee is a out off

worst broadband provider I've ever had the displeasure of entering a contract with. I'd rather watch 'The Only Way Is Essex' on repeat, with my eyes superglued open, and a chinese takeaway just out of my reach, then pay EE any money again.

Be warned, took them 3 weeks to get my broadband activated, took several phone calls when I was on hold for a hour at a time to finally get it activated. Now it's finally been connected I have no complaints about the speed but will be keeping a close eye on the monthly bill

My experience of EE is that both the service, and customer service are shocking. Undoubtedly the worst company I've ever had to deal with. Currently with Virgin, their customer service is distinctly average but their broadband service is fast & stable.

virgin for me gives me 120mb constantly best ISP in uk I know the half your bandwidth if DL more than 10 gig at peak times but let's face it that's still faster than anyone else on market

Worst customer services I have ever experienced.......you have been warned.

Speak as you find. I got the 120 Amazon cashback deal via Moneysavingexpert. No issues with installation or changeover from BT. I'm getting 17mbit speed, so very happy with that.
I have had cause to call customer service once and had no major issues. Call centre in S.Africa, but no issues with language.

virgin all the way for me, been their customer for 2 years. i am getting a £50 referral bonus too after referring a friend and getting him a deal only available for referrals (21.50 effective monthly 12 months contract)

Spent 20 years with Orange/EE mobile and the customer service over the last 2 years was so awful I went to Virgin recently. Won't ever touch EE again clueless, liars, rude, arrogant and nasty at various times.

Please do not make the mistake I have made I switched last Friday they disconnected my service with sky but have still to connect me. They are the most incompetent company I have ever come across. they put you on hold put the phone down promise to call back. I am typing this while on hold yet again. They have just said technical department is closed. I am high priority for tomorrow I was today but they did not call. I cannot believe this deal is promoted by money saving expert I have reported them to Ofcom because I cannot just switch to another company until my broadband is live with EE. Yet because my phone line is live the clock is ticking on the 14 day cancellation. I have just paid £50 for mi-fi because I work from home. If anyone has any ideas to get me out of this mess I would appreciate it. EE should be banned from hotukdeals trust me I would not wish this on my worst enemy!! update 20/1114@19.15 I have been into EE shop they put me through to the high priority team they say I am being connected by 9 pm tomorrow night!! This company is a Joke.
After 10 days no BB still ignoring me I have now switched to bt with another mse deal hopefully I will get BB on the 4th December!

So, EE looks like a no no. Not worth the risk!

Do I stay with sky £11.70/month equivalent for BB and landline, or do I hold out for another plusnet chasback offer....?
